Those were my thoughts too when I first came across the Video. I knew things would escalate as soon as I saw Him walk towards the car in an aggresive manner. It's in your interest to follow the orders of the Officers down to the tee as it minimises the risk of things getting out of hand. Obey now query later is what I was taught and so far so good it has worked out fine.

There is no country in the world where the Police Force are not a protected class. I simply can't think of any and it is that way for a reason. Joining the Force comes with a number of risks so taking the protection away leaves them quite vulnerable. It also means less people are likely to apply to join the force. Better Officer training and good Police - community outreach programmes would certainly help with the issue at hand.

There was an App back in the day but it only loaded front page stories. I didn't see the point of it, after all most users come to Nairaland to visit their individual sections. Only Oga Seun can tell you why he didn't develop the app route but I suspect it has to do with how much data the app would chop from users that may have reduced the usership. Believe me, 95% of Nairaland users do not care about the fancy stuff so long as it is functional and uses little data, although a DM system is long overdue
