Dru23 give only this 4 documents to drivers, insurance, vehicle license, hackney, and roadworthiness.(photo copies)

Proof of ownership and vehicle allocation shouldn't be given (Not even copy)

Some drivers are king of interstate, na only when u catch them, they will come up with is my first time.

When they don't have the complete documents, they wont be able to take ur car to Asaba/Benin or Akure without the police stopping them.

Thanks bro.....send me your number via my email dru23@hotmail.com , I might need new drivers in the near future.....but for now all my drivers are doing ok with their 20k rental .... 1 of my driver is married with kids and family, he seems to have sense and I doubt he will drive out of Lagos without informing my team ... The other seems ok for now and all paying 20k naira rental ....So far no issues at all ...

Down time is a killer in this business.. With help of the new driver, the blue civic below was put in order as fast as 1,2,3 ... And other minor issues will be resolved when the car brings in delivering money .....So my team and I are on the ball .....

Government did nothing, they need to find a way to tax citizens, since we don't have standard income report.

20naira tax will be bill on passengers on every ride.

Roadworthiness fee is not tax, is a form of fee.

If we stop paying tithe to church and contribute more in paying tax to government we might have a better infrastructure and a better state.
With these same leaders whose greed knows no bounds, if you like increase tax to 80% you will only help in fattening their accounts, things will still be the same.

So, I was doing a search for someone on Peugeot online and it led me to Nairaland (this thread specifically). I read some negative opinions concerning ehailing with Peugeot vehicles in Nigeria because of unpleasant experiences some people had or read on ogunvic41 ehailing saga. As much as some of these people think they know everything that led to it, you really don't know as much as think you do. I don't live in Lagos or run the ehailing business, but I know one of the factors that created the mess. And I am here to point it out.

For those who don't know me, I am Lion King - Monk and also Ikenna351. When it comes to a Nigerian hardcore Peugeot freak and a specialist/expert on the brand, that's me. So, you can either be indifferent, like me for who & what I am or hate me for it.

Ogunvic41 was once a client of mine who paid me on several occasions for pre-purchase inspections for Nigerian used Peugeot cars for his clients for the ehailing business and/or for other reasons I do not know of. I reported my findings and recommendations on the ones I inspected to him, at his choice to work with my recommendations on which ones to purchase or walk away. I never did any purchase or payment for him on any of the vehicles he eventually purchased, whether for himself or his clients. However, he had his own way of buying used Peugeot cars that contradicted and still contradicts my standard when it comes to cars I recommended to clients for purchase. He did purchase few ones I recommended though, but ended up buying some I wouldn't recommend or I didn't even inspect. My standard is, when it comes to used Peugeot vehicles, I would rather recommend a clean non abused one to a client to purchase than recommend a dead abused one with intention to restore. Restoring a dead or severe abused modern Peugeot car can be a rabbit hole I would never suggest or recommend to a non car enthusiast to dive into. Most times, you end up spending more than you could have spent in buying a clean non abused one trying to restore an abused one. That was a mistake ogunvic41 made by not listening to my expert advice sometimes which created problems between him and some of his clients and also made such cars money pit (spending more than expected to fix the cars or car keeps breaking down due to unresolved issues/abused the cars had before purchase).

There could be other issues surrounding the saga that I didn't and still don't know about, but the claim by some of you guys here that ogunvic41 choice of Peugeot brand for the business was the cause of the saga is very wrong. Ogunvic41 personally used his Peugeot 407 with 2.2 liter petrol engine to run the Uber business in the beginning and made a lot of money. He brought the car to me from Lagos to Abuja once and I did some repairs for him on the car. So, I didn't just read about the car on Nairaland, I have touched and sat in him. If he could still make profits enough to buy more or expand the business with a bigger engine that consumes more fuel (2.2 liter - EW12J4) in Peugeot 407, what about the 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 & 2.0 petrol engines in identical and/or other modern Peugeot models used in ehailing business?

Now, for those who might be interested in using Peugeot vehicles for this kind of business, I would recommend the most popular/common suited lions used for the business here in Abuja and other northern states. And they are Peugeot 307, Peugeot 406 & Peugeot 407. Other models can serve too, but I usually recommend these 3. They are dependable and durable cars. Fuel economy is good in the 3 vehicles. Not long ago, I was on a journey from Abuja to Kaduna in a Peugeot 307 with 1.6 liter engine and Stick-Shift as a passenger and the car consumed about 10 liters of petrol (N1,500) for a journey of about 250 km. Peugeot 406 with 1.8 & 2.0 petrol engines consume similar fuel consumptions on same given or similar distance. Peugeot 407 with 2.0 petrol engine consumes just a little bit more, but the difference is insignificant. I have driven these 3 cars myself on similar distances but they consumed more than I quoted above simply because of my driving style. I drive for fun (aggressively) not for fuel economy. So that doesn't count for someone interested in this kind of business.

Maintenance cost of Peugeot 307, 406 & 407 are very good. I haven't plugged in scan tool in my 20 year old 406 V6 Stick-Shift this year (2020) and we are about to enter the 9 month of the year. You won't understand how good and maintenance friendly these 3 lions are until you get a non-abused one and keep him that way. However, I would suggest you choose carefully if the road conditions you intend to run the ehailing are rough with potholes, gullies, etc. Peugeot 407 suspensions cost higher to maintain, compared to the other 2. So, use 407 where the roads are smother, if you want to spend less on suspension maintenance.

To enjoy a used trouble-free modern Peugeot vehicle, seek for how to get a clean non abused one and how not to abuse one when he becomes yours, and not rely on negative opinions from other people online and offline on Peugeot vehicles. Wear and tears are expected on every used car. Likewise, every car has some unpleasant sides, irrespective of model, brand or production year.

I understand some people will still hate this post or what I said here. But then, I can't save everyman.

Ikenna351, Lion King - Monk.

How was she able to get those 3 mini bags down from 3rd floor?
Why didnt she ask me to cone get those bags from her room?

Note: the gate is a code one, that only required a push, and she's practically holding nothing when trying to access. I have asked her thro the gate, where r the bags that she want me to carry, cos if it's those bags (Her shoe and whatever) that I am seeing on the floor she stressed me for... Then something is wrong with her mentally, but if you can't tell the difference btw someone who need a help and someone who try to demean u, her address is Cromwell estate, 2nd gate by the left, block 2.

Bros resist d urge to shalaye.

Dat was how I got this req somewhere around Ogba, area G. GMap directed me through the back gate not knowing there was a gate permanently closed which separates rider and me. Even the security told me the compound is just by the gate so I should call rider to meet me up instead going to turn at agidinbi road since the entrance was there. Waited for about 12min rider's contact on the app is a UK line, sent an in app mgs no reply. Rider didnt call.

Just when no was about cancelling rider called.

R: hello, where are you
M: I'm just behind d gate next ur PUL n been waiting 4 over 12min.
R: You've to go turn tru d other gate.
M: dat would be another 1.3km drive for me.
By d way, where u going to pls.
R: inside omole estate.
M: sorry pls I can't make, unless you meet here so we go from here.
R: what d fvck is wrong with u... Bla bla bla....

na so me I cut her call. Cancel. Collected my 4h.

She called I didnt pick. Next tin na text mgs insulting her generation.

Me just delete her mgs block her line.

Season 2 I come so enh... No time for nice guy!

I've got a nice ride, any rider way provoke me too much I drive to you, come down, make sure you see me standing by my car then cancel right in your face. My appearance alone can intimidate even Mr. 9ja. Talk of physics, body built, color, outfit, neatness, etc.
