Them come change mouth to 7th now angry
Can you imagine,a whole central bank of a country not sure about dates, untop chikini $50mln them want release undecided
The way boys dey wait to mop up that their chicken change and hike the price again ehn... grin
We all know they can't continue with the intervention and want to use scare tactics to defeat boys, even abokis have realised and pay no attention to their tomfoolery.
If they do,their reserve go finish.

Those that have the dollar by now should have made up their minds on what to do. It was almost like this in 2016 when people kept doubting and some where caught up with the situation holding Dollar bought way above $400. After it stood around that $360 for almost 3 years.

It is not in CBN's place to determine when Int'l flight will resume operations.. That is left for Ministry of Health/The PTF on COVID-19 Team and the Minister of Aviation.

we dont print dollars so we will be in continues crises in cycles.....diego should divest from Nigeria and sell stake to Nigerian investors who will gladly earn Naira ,spend naira and get buried in Nijai area ...beer/spirits... we dont have dollars or prints dollars to give them the small dollars will be allocated to top necessities.
Let the pray for crude to raise cos we cant give what we dont have .... the idle 20bn dollars held in dorm unproductive accounts should be given to them ...

You don't know anything about 2016 so close your mouth.
The CBN did not make any announcement but suddenly started pumping money.
What these guys are doing now are scare tactics.
I've been in business long enough to know.

You know everything about 2020 so open your mouth. Any serious investor knows he or she is to do his or her due diligence before investing and not be used as a lab rat for your unfounded ideas.

I made a lot or a bulk of my money via projections like this and I'm really comfortable honestl, which should tell you my projections have been accurate.
So you saying my ideas are unfounded just because your small/shallow mind can't assimilate is ridiculous tbh..

People that make a lot of money do not shout about it. Shouting is mostly for touts and broke people actually. With your rants here, you are likely not to be making anything more than what can afford you the data to type on Nairaland and chase clout. Yet you think you have deep mind that can assimilate everything.

what is the monthly genuine demand of dollars by the Nigeria economy ? What is the speculative demand...what is the corrupt income demand .....the last two demads are false demands and many Nigerians holding dollars up and down dont have any tangible reasons ,buying and hoarding dollars to speculative....going forward i will advice the cbn to shut down dorm accounts holding ...once your are in Nigeria u must spend Naira .....Naira is the tender here ....why do americans, British and other dont hold dorm naira accounts in Britain .......20 bn dollars unproductive dollars warehouse in dorm accounts .....this false demand must be taken out....

This is a very brilliant take. While I would be happy to know the exact numbers of each category of demand, I can see how the possibility of this can create fx scarcity. CBN needs to decide now or never.

We do want a sane country, lots need to change in Nigeria but there are good things about Nigeria like community share of responsibility. Like people can easily dash you N5000 when they see you hungry but In a developed country someone who looks hungry doesn't get a dime, there are exceptions though.

You can get through many things in Nigeria.

He should drive it himself. Most Nigerians are a fraudster from fuel to spare parts and if his not conversant with vehicles parts and registration they will fleece him. From one complain to another. LaStma hold me I don't have Lassra, VIO said we don't have bornet permit, Lekki Police said I should pay fine for driving into Chevron estate. If you are not careful he would even advise you to sell and he may be the one to buy it through third party. He should drive it himself.

I am glad Leezah confirmed that the storm will be over. Many investors lose sight of the fact that it's during storms that wealth are transferred and wise investors make tons of money.
@OP do any of the following
1. Buy Wapco shares below N12
2. Buy Zenith share below N17
3. Follow the guys on the US stock page they are making a kill with the surplus stimulus fund.
4. Look for a fixed income fund that can give you at least 10% per annum.

On wapco and Zenith, let's compare notes by April 2021.

@RavagedHeart thank God you are waking up according to you.
The first thing is to determine your investment objective ie what you intend to achieve because investment is a means to an end. The reason for investment should not just be because others are investing. You will also do well to gather some investment knowledge that in itself is a form of investment.
With the capital you have, mutual funds will be good and stocks better if you can take risk; gradually you will build wealth if consistent
N.B: The bolded is a relative term when considering forms of investment in relation to risk.
