Better don't go and promise and fail. Nobody asked you to promise to renovate buildings. It's not Lagos State's business. The damages should be incurred by the company that owns the helicopter. Renovating a few buildings shouldn't be their problem. Oga, focus on Third Mainland Bridge and the light rail construction, Sir. 29 Likes 1 Share

Good thing but, not the most efficient decision imho. We as a people are too sentimental and never objective. This is why I think it's too dangerous for us to govern ourselves. We tend to spend erroneously for goodness sakes. This is a typical black man thinking with his heart instead of his mind. Stupidity at worst indeed. On whose whose account would the expense be charged, abeg? Don't the Copter owners have Insurance on it to bear the cost? Why do the citizens of Lagos have to pay for it? This is Opebi for goodness sake. The property owners and inhabitants of that neighborhood have enough to either bear the loss or seek retribution from the Copter owners. That money should be spent on building shelter to the less privileged NOT those that can and should seek reimbursement from the necessary agencies. 8 Likes 1 Share |
