The topic was a nutrition/food issue but how this lady managed to bring in igbo/anioma issue to it still baffles me till date each time i recall that episode. it is like in the meeting of reptiles and when crocodile, alligator and monitor lizards are around,the agama lizards comes and tells the whole gathering of lizards that I am not a reptile but am agama lizard ! that is just what happened

Ọba = your normal oba of Benin
IDU na ỌBA talks about the issues the people of idu had with the Ọba which made most of them migrate eastward to join their kits and kin.
Some stayed back Sha.
Onitsha people asaba etc are idu but came to join us here due to the war with Ọba.
Igbo land extended to parts of edo back then.
Today Idunoba has become the legendary land of animals in Igbo folktales.
And yes I am from Anambra State.

i was listening to one crown fm igbo language programm last week, the programme is strictly igbo language. one lady called in, gave an igbo name and now said she is not igbo but anioma. She now proceeded to speak igbo that was purer than most enugu , imo and ebonyi Version. We that were listening were livid with anger
