The governor possibly be serious. Hopefully he is just fishing for comments. Most schools have over-crowded classes and hostels/dormitories. They can not implement social distancing if all the students resume.
so what is your suggestion? We should scrap school? Yea good after all we only go to learn outdated stuff there

silly comment , better say something more reasonable. comment on Edo election campaign
# modified

..always speak out when someone is wrong or biased, children have been at home since march doing nothing, hawking and so on.. But election campaign is going on and those same kids are present there and also in the markets ,streets roaming around.. let's not be biased but make reference on what we see. you work and earn from home don't means everyone does so too. The nation wide protest made by tertiary students don't it ring a bell.
what we need is to encourage reopening of school now and not chipping in what you feel, if you feel it's worth to comment on school resumption then make a front page post and comment on the Edo election campaign

.

so what wrong with the bar, lounge, spa, night club, and other small scale business that will remain close

Na paper those parents that own such will use to pay their wards that will resume their education

well nothing good come out of zoo
This is what comes out of having a government where once they go in,they know they are made for life, with their family, relations and concubines;whatever happens to other people is an afterthought, since even their election is not truly dependent on people voting honestly.
These are businesses that many families depend on,closed down for months,no single palliative, yet no deep thought on how these businesses should be reopened because they are closed down permanently.
Many of them borrowed funds to set up and run these their businesses.
It's a truly backward country Nigeria is.

Why is social distancing in school a major issue.. The markets have been open for more than 2months without any protocol put in place...is anywhere in the Nigeria more crowded than our daily markets?

The only thing they're testing here is a way to get back to taxing school owners and their teachers.
