There is this program called UK BORDER FORCE. In one episode, a tourist woman from wale went on vacation in India and suddenly felll in love with an Indian boy selling coconut by the beach, she tried to convince the embassy to allow her return with the boy but they refuse. Their stand was, she actually met the boy within few weeks and that was not enough to bring him into the UK. She did all she could but eventually succeeded at last after several questioning . In that case she was even present ooo. Ok if she's not there what would you think would happen!

Bros calm down. Am not an expert in this field oo but I will advise you to yield to experts advise instead of looking at it from the angle of enviness. The truth is, Nigerians are treated differently when it comes to visa. Any iota of doubt is likely to ruin your chances. The men here are trying to help you unfortunately they wouldn't want to disclose to you exactly how you should play the game. The whites are smart and clever and can think beyond your imagination. Now, you met a lady online, not physical and she's inviting you to come over. The first impression that will come to Eco mind is, he's planning to arrange a relationship to have a stay, or somebody in the UK made a paid arrangement to get him in UK . Their mind will shoot straight at fraudulent means of wanting to enter the UK. Come to think of it, even if it's your own blood brother inviting you they will request for many evidence to substantiate your relationship with that person . We understand the despiration of Nigerians wanting to change their work or live an elongated lifestyle .
They are too quick to suspect us as a Nigerian. I will advise you to abandon your ties with that oyibo ,rather present a document to travel as a tourist that will lodge in an hotel .when you gets there it is left for you to choose wether to remain in the relationship and cement your stay instead of showing your intention which they may likely not believe.
Too many arranged marraiges involving Nigerians ,indians, and Pakistan has awaken their scrutiny module. If you are an American or Japanese or any of the first world countries I bet you are good with your profile but naija. Omo. .... So please reckindle your statement that everyone in here is just a mere applicant. Some persons here are typing from UK while some are frequent visitors .they have the requisite experience as to what plays around and that has been proven on this platform.

She’s inviting me as a friend. And with my profile i don’t look like a permanent immigrant to the UK, i have a good job here, that what i mean, she even stayed it in the i.v that she will be taking care of all my responsibilities while you are here including accommodation and food, but not limited to financial responsibility for your round trip air fare to travel from Nigeria to the UK and back. You will be staying with me at my home address as provided above for the duration of 3 weeks since i have enough room for u ect’s

Even if u have brothers, sisters, uncles, family members who are UK citizens it all still the same thing unless u applying base on settlement as a UK BRP or citizen spouse.

Example: If my blood brother who is a UK citizen is inviting me to the UK, what do u think is gunna be the eco thinking’s ? Like’ i won’t go back to Nigeria again, when issues the visa, my brother who is already a citizen will cover me up lol.

Even if a UK parent is inviting a child; nah still the same thing applying for a 6 month tourist visa the chance of getting is 50/50.

The fact is that i don’t have to submit her financial paperwork’s since am coming as a friend, and as an adult, so i need to sponsor my shits myself, perhaps she don’t even plan to sponsor the trip, she don’t appear so desperate to the eco’s in the sense that she write she will be responsible for my flight ticket the eco will say why is she so desperate to bring me over all this takes only prayers and miracles to happen, different eco’s with different thoughts.”

Numerous forks have gotten visas with this same profile related to mine base on UK 6 month tourist visa, i am not the first, neither do i look like the last.

“Let believe it’s 50/50 as someone said earlier.”

I do believe in miracles !

Happy Sunday.

I think where you all get it wrong is because she’s a female lol and the whites don’t have black mentalities like we Africans a female can have male friends ect in the sense a dude is inviting me nko ?

A dude inviting me can also smell a gay to the eco haha

Abeg make una just put me for una prayers that all i know.

She no do bad thing to invite me.

@Roneld77, If i were in your shoes, since you have a good job and good closing balance, why not just be silent abt this Invitation?

Truth is, your application is judged and decided using both your sponsor's invite and your personal situation here in Nigeria. So if your ties are tight solid, the ECO might overlook the shoody Invite.

I hope God helps me,

Bros heee, your chances of getting the visa will be 85-90% based on yoûr ties back home. But with that oyibo the chances are quite slim.
Them go think and assumed say you dey find means to get higher paid job compare to the one you have in Nigeria .
Their fear now is, once you are allowed inn they don't have any right to deport you hence the lady stood firm by your side.
Don't base your financial situation and working ties in Nigeria as a yardstick for this application. The oyibo matter don spoil everything. Anyway, I so wish you get it.

Money should reflect in your acct within 28working days.

You can even apply before the refund is completed if you have spare funds.

My great comrades in Nairaland.. Please, does anyone knows weather Cotonou required covid 19 test before they can board in their country. Because, I am to book ticket on the 2nd of September to fly through Cotonou route. As our government are not reliable. Please I need answer ASAP. If someone that has passed through can give me the road map.. And the challenges he or she experience.

Pls house, I intend to spend 8 days in the UK and I understand that we need to quarantine for 14 days when we arrive. Do I need to include the 14 days in my hotel reservation or there is an arrangement for people coming in to quarantine?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Skymoore1004: 12:02pm On Aug 30, 2020
I’m going to advise you.
You can take it or leave it.

You see Cotonou? Avoid there!
All the people I know that flew from there all complained about maltreatment from border... to airport immigration officials ... to the airline officials. Infact a group of students were denied boarding via Brussels airlines for no tangible reason. They had to rebook with Ethiopian after many abeg abeg pleas! They made it known that they do not like Nigerians flying via their airport. They don’t use eye to see Nigerians even.

Just wait for airports to open & make your journey.
But if you want to go through unnecessary hassle, e go be...

No, CONVID19 test was not required from people I know.
Maybe it has changed now idk

Yes, their updated guideline states you must do the covid test before using their airport. I don't know anyone that has passed through recently to confirm

@ronelds, abeg of you if you have not done biometrics, and you earn above 250k or 300k every month, your monthly expenses no reach 50k monthly, please abort from using oyinbo as invitee. If you follow procedures stated by the gurus as per their responses to you, oga i guarantee u will be given. Even if you are denied, you will write them and defend everything by quoting your docs and will be given. I am telling you from experience, please decide to book an hostel within your budget i assure you God will do it. Dont even tell oyinbo you are not using her data again. Just be silent to her as per the application so as not for her to regret y she wasted her time. I understand your reluctance of starting all over again, fear of the unknown, God's miracle but there are things that are so obvious. Please work towards your chances of issuance, dont mind the stress. Even though the process is mentally draining, kindly challenge yourself and go tru the process. Remember success is key. Its better you apply as a tourist, and use oyinbo as second option in case otherwise. This platform is life saver. My opinion might not count cos i am seeking for help here to but we cant tell whose opinion can be a saver. I adhered to all responses here no matter how minute it might seem.
I wish you luck.

There is no local arrangement from the Govt. If you intend to actually physically go out of your accommodation for tourism, u might want to include the 14 days in your reservation. To be honest, it has not been clearly spelt out and a lot of questions around this are yet to be answered in the UK.

They expect people to self isolate upon arrival and submit details of where they would be isolating in but there is no real policing as people will mix with others in public transports on their way to their hotels and the likes
