Magicians: You see this is another senseless Igbo with the way he evaded failed lunatics they have as governor but castigated someone like Aregbe thag transformed Osun. Where is the greatest failure of all governors in Nigeria from 1999 till date, where is Ikpeazu n why is he not your list ?
OK I get it
I don't have your time bro. this naija we dey na our hand go destroy or make am. I don't know ikpeazu and I don't care about him or any politician. I care about Nigeria. If you want to continue promoting tribe over the welfare of the country no problem. I am comfortable and rich. I have been approached by your politicians to launder your money and your generations for them but I refused. If we destroy Nigeria by division and hatred we have no other place to call home. Peace
See brooms that brought Nigeria back to do or die politics.. Nigeria never left that kind of politics instigated by PDP, your statement of bringing it back does not accrue.
Very sad people with eyes can't see If you need granny glasses to know the picture depicts the people's will, then getting one won't be a bad idea.
Edo people are really working hard to avoid the miserable life of Lagosians who pay IGR of different types into the Bourdillon bullion vans. Una do well o. Domo sir.
dre11: FLASHBACK: Oshiomhole once wanted building named after Obaseki for ‘selfless service’
Adams Oshiomhole, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), once said Godwin Obaseki, governor of Edo, worked for the state using his brain and creativity.
Oshiomhole, who praised the governor during the governorship campaign of 2016, said a building at the government house should be named after Obaseki for his selfless service.
Oshiomhole said while he was governor of Edo, Obaseki helped him build the economy team of the state with his network.
“I know my limit. He knows his limit. Godwin Obaseki has worked for seven and half years for the people of Edo state, using his brain, creativity, quietly, not making noise,” Oshiomhole said.
“He sits in the office of the economic team which he built using his network of friends inside the heart of government house without demanding one naira.
“A man like that who will not ask me to give him contracts, but will promise me, comrade, you just do the thinking, we will create the means to actualise your thoughts. And to his credit today, check the books of Edo state, we did not build new structures in government house with government money. That economic team office was built through Godwin’s network. Today, it remains a permanent asset of the state government.
“I want us to be calling that building Godwin Obaseki building. I don’t see your opponent Ize-Iyamu being able to say that. In 2007, check the records, Ize-Iyamu was hiding from EFCC. He didn’t not vote. How can somebody who didn’t vote claim that he made me.
“If you have to look at Godwin and his credentials and you look at a man whose only work, by his CV, was a student and rusticated for two years, he read law but he is not a barrister. That is his foundation. I never gave him government job. Lucky Igbinedion’s mother was reported to have slapped Ize-Iyamu for misleading her son. He tried it with me, but we kept him away. Nothing near government circle. No access to public funds.
“Look at the road to his house, in our books, was dual carriage way. They took the money, constructed the road to his house and stopped. Although we have liquidated the godfathers politically, the entire political family will be liquidated.”
Golden057: Politics in Nigeria is about telling the people your achievements and plans, then expose the weakness of the opposition in other to put them in check and to remove the people's eyes from considering them.
How much do you know about politics in the other 200 or so countries in the world, to say this
Austino50: It takes a man who has helplessly conceded defeat to go this way, by bringing pass tense to present tense. Obaseki that was the record in past not this present
Do I need to pray for sense to fall on you, so that you can see in the present tense?
When you are done reading, kindly enumerate 10 things Oshiomole, Lucky, and by extension Ize Iyamu did for the same State while they held sway.
After that, do well to point out Obaseki's sins.
I honestly want to know what he did wrong. I am mon-partisan, whatever will grow Edo is all I'm up for.
Thanks.

Dumb gov.His opponent is busy campaign up/down the state, even ize wife is busy outside doing the same. But the useless/hopeless Obaseki dey busy with billboard
From the campaigns of our leaders,u will know if they will perform or not. Many of them are not even equal to leaders. Some can even be a class captain not to talk of controlling a state. Any leader that doesn't have a track record of success right from the day he or she steps into government office doesn't deem fit to b their. There is not like second chance when it comes to governance. If you can't make tangible change after your first tenure, you won't even make an inch in your last tenure. He that is faithful in little,is also faithful in much.
This is undiluted stupidity laced with foolishness! First, it was Ganduje's video, now this. Why are the billboards not playing projects and achievements instead?
Edo 2020: PDP installs digital billboard to broadcast Oshiomhole’s attestation on Obaseki’s credibility
As part of its campaign strategy, the Edo State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has installed electronic billboard to broadcast the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole’s attestation to the credibility and integrity of Governor Godwin Obaseki during the 2016 governorship election campaign in the state.
The South-South acting chairman of the party, Dan Orbih, commissioned the electronic billboard located at the defunct African Continental Bank (ACB) building in Ring Road, Benin City.
Orbih, who is also the PDP state campaign council chairman for the September 19 governorship election, said the electronic billboard will help to broadcast all accolades, votes of confidence poured and passed on to the governor as the APC candidate in 2016 by the former governor, Oshiomhole.
He also disclosed that the electronic billboard will help to showcase to the people of the state all the governor’s campaign tour in the 192 wards across the 18 local government areas.
“We are here this evening to commission the electronic board as part of the party and the governor’s campaign innovation. This electronic board will televise most of the governor campaigns’ jingles, all that the former national chairman of APC said about the governor, and also where sometime people will be to watch some of the party’s campaign visit across the 192 wards and 18 local government areas, so that even if you are not able to go with him, you can have a very good view of some of his activities in the course of our campaigns activities,” Orbih said.
“Some persons don’t actually have access to watch and listen to the campaign in their homes but wherever they pass through the Ring Road, they will be able to watch the campaigns. This is quite commendable and I believe that it is a new chapter in the campaign arrangement to reach out to more people,” he said.
While commenting on the former governor’s allegations that Governor Obaseki masterminded the suspension of the Onojie of Uromi, he advised those in the position of leadership especially the politicians not to take any action or decision they will not be able to stand by after leaving office.
He alleged that Oshiomhole during his tenure as governor of the state unilaterally suspended the traditional ruler, but the suspension was, however, lifted by the incumbent governor.
Orbih urged the people of the state not to trust on politicians that cannot stand by their decision, noting that the forthcoming governorship election is all about Edo people and their future as the state cannot afford to go back to Egypt.
I am not even a politician to begin with and I am not from Edo State but like I said, it is better to display your achievements than being petty.
In every life endeavor it is important to showcase your achievements, ur skills and what you can offer than showing what somebody once said about you or about any other person. Yeah Osho showered him with accolades when the going was good. Obaseki should understand that Osho was just reasoning along "party lines" when he said those things, so even If he knew that POI was better than Obaseki he would still say good things about Obaseki because he was his party man. I guess it is Obaseki that should understand the fact Osho said those things because he reasoned "along party lines'
You can preach from now till eternity man, all I know is Edo is resisting godfaterism come sept 19. Edo is not Lagos.
Even if he turns water into wine, you'll say he destroyed drinking water, so therefore he did nothing. When u reason along party lines, nothing anyone else does who isn't your party candidate will impress you.
They should also display his achievements for the past four years. They better campaign with his achievements not Oshiomole's . Anybody that wishes Obaseki's returns to Edo state as governor, may the person's life be dormant without development as Obaseki did in Edo state.
