Drivers always get MAD when they see others posting or showing their dashboard. They always claim what they posted is their gross and not Net, yes we know that but to be honest, you guys made some of believe that is not the only reason . There is something you don't want others to know about this hussle, there is something you want to keep HIDING. If it's about GROSS and NET, it shouldn't be a big deal, if you know the net just do the calculation and give us the net whenever you see dashboard. Insulting people you don't know just because they post their dashboard is the height of it, if you don't like it, some of us love it, it motivate us, and we want to keep seeing it. Am sure a lot of people on this forum wants to see it too, it's a public forum abi. That govt is viewing this thread bla bla bla, that one na mumu talk, you guys here are less than one percent of total uber driver out there and you think govt will rely on info from less than one percent to take decision and form policy, that sound low. IF YOU WANT TO POST DASHBOARD,PLS POST, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, WAKA PASS, IF YOU THINK THE FIGURE IS WRONG (GROSS), PLS GIVE US THE RIGHT (NET) FIGURE, NOBODY SHOULD BE INTIMIDATED. All of us no go always PASS THE SAME DIRECTION FOR THIS HUSSLE. Nobody be FOOL for here.

They will attack and shut you up immediately.

Posting earnings will invite criminals, government spies, bla bla bla.

Gentlelife50 post earning of 28k to mislead the public. You want people to believe uber driving job is terrible, but you have been driving uber for more than 2 years 6months. You feed ur family with it, u pay house rent.

Nobody force anybody into uber, if u feel the job is bad quit and go use ur certificate to earn a living

To get 100k on bolt even before Covid 20 was not realisable. Even if realisable, the car will suffer and die quickly. The max right now from my analysis is between 50-80 k gross on average. Thats with extra suffering and serious hard work due to hellish traffic. Remember, I said gross and not net. If drivers are doing offlines, I can't really analyse it because I don't have access to that data.

But For anybody to post figures of 100k in a week, fuel of at least 20 to 25 Thousand is needed to gross that. (Putting in mind scarcity of riders that makes you drive around and look for trips)

That leaves 75000.

75,000 minus bolt 20% will leave the money at 60,000.

You pay car owner (if on rentals) 25,000. That leaves the money at 35,000.

You pay at least 5k on tolls. That leaves the money at 30k.

I don't want to add other expenses like data, calls, car wash, police harassment levy, lastma levy if caught, food etc. That one is personal. Because should a wicked Lastma or Police catch you, you may vomit money you made in 2 weeks to them.

Let me not even enumerate the danger such amount poses to car. Because for you to gross that amount means you don't reject trips and virtually go everywhere. Which is a very very dangerous thing to do in this business.

If you think this analysis is a lie, how many drivers have made it in life driving Uber Bolt? Why are most drivers on rentals always broke and can't get by?

Let the partners also post thier earnings, show us how much you receive at the end of each week from your drivers at least to encourage other partners and would be investors.

We have other threads for other professions, I don't think they even talk about earnings not to talk about posting it.

The experiences we share here is enough to motivate anybody, posting of earnings is rather misleading because you may not know what is involved.

If you are waiting for others to post earnings before you can start driving I pity you, I really agree anybody posting earnings is only trying to show off.

Bro, stop quoting that idiot. Which other profession do you see them posting earnings? The fool is out here to derail the thread.

If only I can meet the guy one on one.. would love to give him a handshake. cheesy

On a serious note I don't do off trips with people I don't know. It's either I know you, I've picked you up b4? Or you're doing an Inter state journey these are the only reasons I can do an offtrip with you and most importantly you must inform me ahead of time so I prepare myself.

Yes , a stranger needs your service, the least you should have done is for you to carry out background check about the fellow before you start writing episode of when Mary was disvirgin .

Ok guys, make I share this one. Weeks ago I complained about my brake pulsating, that is, it was pushing back under my feet when I applied it. The ABS light came on. After going through the Internet, I read that dirty ABS sensor can cause it. So when I repaired my hubs last week, I asked my KAZEEM to help clean the sensors with just rag. After coupling the wheels back, the light disappeared and till now, no more brake pulsating. Everything working well now.
That's the power of the Internet!
