Yes. He has done decently so far. Even set up a chance late in the half which his team mate missed by whiskers. His pressing has been good too. He has no choice... He needs to work his way back into relevance and he is doing just that....so far. Philosopher1979: 2 Likes |

IDENNAA: A very black opaque pot calling the kettle black. After calling Nigerian not born in Nigeria as not being Nigerian and in addition lacking patriotism. For choosing to play for England as opposed to the SE. You then claim that if your daughter in the USA who is an athlete if given the chance will must represent the USA. Is that not HYPOCRITICAL BIGOTRY of the highest order. It is like Ibori, Tinubu and Ganduje giving a lecture on the evils of corruption at Oxford. 7 Likes |

Onyekuru completed just 8 passes in his 58 minutes against Metz. For context, by the time of the sub, every player on the pitch had at least 2X that number and Golovin subbed out in the 15th minute had 8 passes. His career is wheezing away. |

Dessers after defeat: "I take responsibility that we do not win" KRC Genk lost at home to Club Brugge on Sunday afternoon (1-2). The Limburgers nevertheless played a strong second half and were allowed to dock twice from the penalty spot. However, Cyriel Dessers missed the first eleven meters and was fooled by a corner kick in the final phase. After the game, the attacker took responsibility for the defeat. "Of course we are disappointed. We play a good second half. It is my responsibility that we did not win here, with that penalty and that corner. I could have done more there", Dessers told Eleven's camera. The big difference between the first and second half is that we started putting pressure differently, which is more within our qualities. We just played better football. And then we get opportunities. Maybe not big chances, but it was a lot better. We don't deserve to lose here, "Dessers concluded. Source |

That's b'cos most of Monaco's forays forward didn't come through his wing but through Gelson Martins' or the centre. Henry did more work off the ball. Even created a very good chance in the first half which was wasted. I think Henry is gonna have more gametime going forward. His pressing today was really good. TheLoneCitizen: 4 Likes 2 Shares |

TheSuperNerd: I don't think there's any excuse for 9 passes in 58 minutes. His replacement already has 7 passes and that's with a red card. Onyekuru plays like this consistently. 1 Like |

His replacement is not a winger. Ahoulou is a CDM so what do you expect from a Midfielder? Henry gave a decent shift as good as the game went. Not his fault Monaco employed a defensive approach and even made it worse with a red card. It is too early to declare his career as one wheezing away especially when Kovac still rates him. Game is over by the way. Monaco won. TheLoneCitizen: 1 Like |

charlesemeka85: But you are the true definition of shallowness, you said Osimhen was crap and that he was feather weight, so what's the difference between your take on Osimhen THEN and other's opinion on Maduka THEN too? Osimhen's was even more justifiable because he was coming from a good season in a top flight while Maduka's was from non league football. Don't you think you are advertising your poor sense of reasoning and judgment here, Mr Charles Emeka? 11 Likes 1 Share |
