Yes they exist in private universities, but the cultists there are lowkey. Their activities are virtually non-existent, as the schools do not give them breathing space.

Any whiff of cultism, slangs, mode of dressing will you get you expelled. I know two guys who were expelled from a private university for removing the paper labels on their bottles while drinking in a restaurant. They were expelled right on the spot and then escorted to their hostels to pack up their bags.

Private universities are very intolerant of their activities and are constantly on the look out for them.

I have to agree with you for the first time. Whenever I'm tipsy that's the next thing I do. It might connote cultism in other regions of Nigeria but definitely not in the SW. It's just like drinking with left hand in Delta state especially the Isoko and Urhobo speaking part, they frown at it and claim it's only for the occult men or the initiates while no one gives a hoot about which hand you use in drinking in the SW
