This man, Sanusi, Soludo, Utomi, and others are only regarded as intellectuals because they're not crass. They don't say anything of substance or anything that isn't obvious and their either deceitful like Sanusi about their actual intentions, or unbelievably naive for an adult man like Soludo Utomi and Moghalu. Nigerians want to believe in someone so bad that anyone with a suit that isn't screaming something ignorant or tribal is considered worthy of an audience. 29 Likes 6 Shares |

Professor Kingsley Moghalu made some good points there. Nigeria is running a monoeconomy, whereby it depends heavily on crude oil & this can be likened to a man who has a single stream of income which is his salary. How do such a man cope when he is sick, has an accident or outrightly fired without other means of survival? Well, I join my optimism with what Professor Moghalu said:

How are we sure this man would not change if he becomes the President of this country? He sounds intelligent but elections in Nigeria requires more than that. 10 Likes |

This man has said it all the Nigerian economy is currently on a ventilator and if care is not taken will pass out soon.. A return to true federalism is the way forward and restructuring is the key to that :- 5 Likes |

South Africa ranked 60 while Nigeria ranked 116, that alone summarises the whole story. In a common man's term, Nigeria is headed to the rocks 2 Likes |

The fiscal economic model we are operating, which is more of a unitary state model in which the federal government controls and relies on revenue from natural resources and distributes smaller portions of those revenues to states, rather than a truly federal one in which sub-national governments control their revenues and contribute to the maintenance of the central government, is simply not sustainable. We’ve been hearing this since God knows when. People should bring realistic solutions and not the usual theoretical solution that we always dish out which led us to our current position. 2 Likes |

I am still awaiting a time when Nigeria's economic team would deliberate on Inclusive technologies, AI, and Solar energy innovation. Our RD metrics and budget year-on-year for STEM is still below global standards. Moghalu's assertion is a sad reality 3 Likes |

It isn't the dependence on oil that is the issue but, the fact that the country is cursed in very obvious ways. How the country will be presented with eloquent, vibrant and intellectually sound minds like this man and still end up with as president befuddles the mind and proves that black magic must be involved. What's tha business? 3 Likes |
