Image 1-
It began with a sketch. Made the sketch with a light pencil (for easy correction). It was made with accurate proportion and perfectly detailed. This serves as a guide for the ongoing project

Image 2
The black hat was made solely with charcoal pencils due to its darkness and a little highlights was created to show its curves and gradients

Image 3-
Starting my drawing from the left because I'm right handed, following the initial details alredy on the sketches, I used my charcoal pencils to create various grades, shades and values and gradually progress towards the right hand side of my drawing.

Op I gotta say I'm blown away by your work.
I'm a music producer, but I'm not helpless with pencils myself.
Right from my primary school days I've always been good at drawing stuff.
I'd later abandon it as I grew up, but some time last year boredom made me pick up the pencil again, and I ordered for Staedtler Pencils.
I sketch just for fun, not professionally...
I admire realistic sketches and artists like you because I'm really aiming for that also.
I'm in love with everything aesthetic, so I'd really love to hit your level of drawings, but since no one taught me and I just do this for fun..
Do you mind telling me a few stuff I might need to become better?
Also, I don't mean to take away the attention from your work, but it's because I admire it a lot I think I could use a few advice from you.
My drawings just look like actual Pencil sketches, they ain't realistic enough...
Here's an example
