Even if it’s loan, we should get replacement first.

Squad depth is really really important. No be the one we go start well and then start to play rubbish as the season progress and we start blaming fatigue or not trusting the players on the bench.

I am hearing we are after Thiago as well. Liverpool are ahead of the queue but it seems they have been dragging their feet over transfer fee and Bayern has now invited us to the party.

Not if Fred is going out on loan or on a permanent deal. Like i said it is likely a ploy by Bayern to increase the fee but i do believe we have made inquiries about him.
It would actually be negligent IMO not to at least make inquiries about a player of his quality who is available for a cheap price.

It is possible we made the inquiries before we signed Van de Beek though.
