If they think job hard now ,what happens when they get old ..hustle now and plan...... A lot of these drivers are smiling to the bank ,some or most will not put money aside and save for raining day .. Most will born more children they can't afford to feed.. It becomes a circle of poverty that keeps going... That is why I don't pity anybody anymore ,my job as a business man is to provide you the necessary tools for you to do your job .. Check the word "untrue" you will also find the word "true" in it, same also you will find the word "possible" in "impossible".

Over these few weeks I could deduce some facts and information with happenings in the ehailing world. In a nutshell, and to me, nothing like impossibilities in life. Who would have thought the world would experience a global lockdown to a pandemic despite the level of technology and science?

It's only a person who is clouded in h/h mind that will think the word "change" is not constant or impossible.

When Fashola was Gov. of Lagos State with his believe of a good ecosystem, fighting climate change he tried to push out old vehicles outta Lagos State and after then I think importation of some years of car started.

Moove Africa is gradually creating serious wave in the ehailing market, with the kind of partnership entered with UBER anything is possible in the nearest future.

But for the now, let's just keep our fingers cross believing everything works in our favour.
bro can you please forward me a copy of the rental agreement to samsonmadu82@gmail.com? I have a car I wanna give out on rental plsssss. Thanks

Good day y'all. Happy new month!

Please, the hybrid users in the house especially Prius and Civic

What has been the experience in terms of maintenance and rewire issues?

Candid advice needed in the right car for Uber/bolt outside the seemingly overpriced corolla.

Thanks

We no suppose work today, but Uber no go let person rest.

I can remember that you were all out against Uber compared to bolt then.
The fact is that bolt won't allow you to enjoy Uber if you are using both app. I had to abandon bolt when they were too unreliable to enable me concentrate on Uber's 3%.

You would have enjoyed Uber now if the 3% were to still be running. I could remember always completing my 20 trips before noon on Tuesday.
I pray Uber comes up with something nice cos I hope to grab the wheels by Dec.

Any driver ready for HP?

If we negotiate the car, whatever we buy the car is what I will add on top.

You go inspect the car yourself, like it, then get ready to be a car owner within 1year.

Just like this too, if anyone is intrested in HP with the car, come for inspection and lets deal!!!

I have been wondering too, is it that the '08 Civic is not so appropriate for the hustle?

I am looking at the City range too.
The factor is I have a budget below 1m and looking at cars less than 2.0ltr engine

Kia Rio, Cerato, Optima
Hyundai Accent, Elantra
Honda Civic, City
Toyota Yaris, Camry

Got any input on this?

Google or ask around from drivers using NISSAN TIIDA to know if its a good car for the hustle, for the record its very fuel efficient and the AC is very good too. 1.6 - 1.8L engine!

I see some drivers using it now (maybe due to price option) and i use it to travel, move around city too. But i wont just speak as a seller rather as fellow driver. So, If you get good or fair (least) comment on it , i have one for sale (2008 ,750k).

Generally for cars , i think oga GAZZUZZ is the one that comments mostly on cars and details here sha

I can only give input on the cars that I used for uber ....

03 to 05.... Honda Civic very strong and study .....very low maintenance... Use the rite engine oil and transmission fluid.... Find a Honda specialist to handle all repairs

07 to 08 Hyundai Elantra .....very good alternative to the over hyped Corolla .. Good on gas and very strong car for uber ..always make you use correct parts for this cars ..

I am not a big fan of naija used cars ,due to most owners lack of maintainence culture.. So if you buy one ,good luck .......

Valve Body

I will be talking about valve body this morning based on most questions I get from people on here.

What is a Valve?

Valve is a device for controlling the passage of fluid or air through a pipe, duct, etc., especially an automatic device allowing movement in one direction only.

What is then a Valve Body?

An automatic transmission system has a valve body, which serves as the main control center. The valve body has numerous passages and channels within the valve body. It allows the flow of hydraulic fluid to different valves to direct the right clutch and switch the gear appropriately according to the driving situation.

The Valve Body consists of different Solenoid that helps control the flow of tranny fluid to direct the right clutch and switch the gear appropriately.

The Solenoid are labelled for each gear operation they are designed for, once a Solenoid goes bad, it affect the seamless operation of the transmission system.

Possible codes like

P0729-P0736: indicate problems with the gear ratio. Each code specifies the individual gear. These codes may occur if the transmission fluid is low, a clutch in the torque converter malfunctions or if there is a damaged solenoid both mechanical and electrical.

Note:[/b]Valve body design varies with Automobile companies, both in design and placement.
