He was caught unaware in an open position, in the final seconds of the game when the pass was dished to him..Yes, I get it, it was not a perfect pass but Covington's inattentiveness made it worse because it was a playable gather and shoot. Everyone on that court should have their ears standing immediately Brodie handles the ball for the check-in and anticipate a pass.

That’s exactly my point. Some guys only see 2 groups. Elite / superstar and average. Meanwhile In reality there are different degrees and shades of greatness. I would not say Siakiam is a tier 1 (franchise player) or even 2, but he is a very good and solid lieutenant tier 3, and very far from average. If you say an all nba (Most likely) is average, what about the many others. That’s exactly my point.
