Good question...by virtue of zoning power should be returning to Abia north...if PDP should field a true son of abia north then it might hamper the chances of APC. Since my constituency is involved, personally i feel ngwa people are cunningly trying to take a consecutive slot... So I'll rather Apc fields a "proper" candidate and forget about otti..

I can remember vividly during the 2015 elections when Akex Otti claimed to be an Ngwa man because the Abia charter of equity favoured Ngwa or Ukwa producing the Governor. Is he still an Ngwa man or has he changed nationality? I'm asking because his body language suggests that he is still going to contest again but this time under APC. Now that Ngwa or Abia South is about completing their 8 years will he contest as Ngwa man from Abia South/Central or as Aro man from Abia North?

I'm from Aro and may disagree with you on Ohafia/isikwuato stuff. Abia north is Abia North and l will tell you that if Ohafia present a candidate again after being deputy then, PDP may lose good number of votes in Abia north.

Tbh...Yea...I knew when he was @ Orpet, I used to go visit Sam Onuigbo with an Uncle, when he was Finance Commissioner (before they planned the coup against Ibeji).

If he goes for Senate...he will lock horns with OUK which is no easy clash.

Though Ohafia has big votes to challenge Bende..and Ukole/Aro will be assuaged but again Umunneochi & Isuikwuato are not PDP-friendly for obvious reasons.

Abia Central have not produced Deputy before...Chinedu might still decide to keep his Speakership, and let an Ukwa man go for Deputy.
