Good day everyone,
Pls I would like to know if it's advisable to do a two year program in Medical sonography at an accredited school in Ireland?

You are right...
For those that their visa were denied, am truly sorry about that but the truth is that I was once in that terrible mood when I was denied. I felt the world has collapsed on me but little did I know that it was the will of GOD.
What do I mean? My first application was 101% ok. I submitted everything even added extra documents to prove my transparency. My financial aspect was clearly stated. I had enough money left after i have paid my school fees, I presented my letter of employment, my pay slips, letter of recommendation from our HR..... Infact my statement of account I printed corresponded with my pay slips and inflow/outflow of money was 101% consistence. All the reasons for their denial were funny because they were part of the evidence I presented. Eg My financial status, date of birth (Note: I have never used another date of birth since my childhood, my WAEC result has my original date of birth crested on it, my birth certificate from NCC, my baptizmal card looking old you will clearly know that it was not forged in all they said I gave a fake date of birth... hahahaha. The ONLY thing I did not do was EDUBOND. So when I was apealing I used EDUBOND, immigration lawyer in Nigeria and presented all documents I submitted earlier according to the way it was stated in IRISH website.
Finally a decision was made and my visa was APPROVED.
My point is that GOD allowed the denial to take place so that I can apply for EDUBOND and doesn't have to be stranded. The exchange rate when I did the EDUBOND was N395 per 1 euro from black market against N552 per 1euro currently.
It has added extra 1million Naira.
Attimes God allows things happened for a purpose.
Just be optimistic and believe that God can do all things.

Thank you very much
My first application was for February intake so I submitted in October 2019.
Got refused in December 2019
Appealed that same December 2019
because of covid, I didn't hear anything from them even when I sent several mail, notting from the embassy so I lost hope since they were not answering. To my greatest surprise my visa was approved 2nd week embassy was opened in July and I got my kpali in August hahhahaaa....
It can only be GOD ooooo

NOTE: For those that are appealing, if you think you are behind the scheduled time for your academic session, do not be in a hurry, you can request for a new offer letter for the next academic session from your international officer so that VO will will not capitalise on the reason that your school will soon start to deny you again.
That was what I did in my own case. My initial application was for February intake but I got a new offer letter and invitation to register for September intake, appealed and got approved.

I hope this helps
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Alday: 1:55pm On Sep 03, 2020
If you can, then why not?

MODIFIED:
Usually, people born before 1992 do not have NPC-issued birth certificates (except maybe a recently-issued Attestation letter from the NPC) but will rather possess statutory declaration of age (declared by a relative) which is accepted by the embassy for people born pre-1992.

Hospital-issued birth certificates may be regarded as a good proof of evidence to backup the affidavit.

If the relationship is by marriage, you can also establish the connection through a marriage certificate.

Make your response concrete and convincing and may it end well.

You can send them a high court affidavit explaining the ties between you and your sponsor. The High court affidavit would fix that if you think you won't be able to get a NPC issued certificate. Did you received the mail from Abuja or Dublin and when did you submit?

It’s from Dublin.

I am also trying to reach our family lawyer if I can get my grandfather’s will where all the children were listed (my father and his siblings) and I can back it up with their death certificates. If I can get the affidavit down within early hours of tomorrow I will also add it to my submission if not I will just go by what I have and pray. Hope it works.

You can get some documents that bear the names of the deceased, maybe the death certificate and a few other things. Then when you add your own birth certificate, it should have a space for where your parents name are clearly stated which should correspond with the names on the other documents. This should suffice!
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Princeadex04: 5:14pm On Sep 03, 2020
Sounds good, if you are able to get the aforementioned you are certain of getting a positive response. Pls add the high court affidavit and death certificates as stated by you with the other documents it's very important. Your visa is about to be issued they are only waiting for you to supply the stated document. Congrats in advance. One last thing, when did you submit?

He can try any EU countries like
Swiss, German, Austria, Southern Cyprus, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Ireland but no Northern Cyprus

I have guys over there and two were killed around 2015/2016
Police there do deport anyone even if you are a student because Nigerians over there are mostly cultists

The 'Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus' a.k.a Northern Cyprus is only a feasible option for someone desperate to leave Nigeria ASAP for Asia/Europe.

Northern Cyprus neither has a post-graduation student pathway nor even officially allows international students to work for any number of hours.

The country (only recognized by Turkey) uses the Turkish Lira (NOT EURO!) and most of its trade, defence and political activities are directly or indirectly overseen by Turkey.
All Inbound flights to Northern Cyprus must even stop-over in Turkey.

It's not a light decision to make but can only be chosen if you think all your other study-travel options may not work out for you visa-wise.

Seunny4lif, I'm mischievously eager to know how you would have planned a move to Ireland using Northern Cyprus for transit if this was 2011.

Let me guess, fly to Greece on a tourist visa (or walk right through the Turkey-Greece border) from Turkey and you're right in the Schengen area for some good disappearance. grin

It is quoted on their website that an English language test is very necessary. You should have seen this on the list of required documents.

Best thing is to try and do one quickly. Either Duolingo or PTE and then send it to them ASAP!
