Hello,
Nice amount. Please review this.
1. Does this amount matches the required fees ??

2. Did you provide backing as to what he does to come up With this amount. For Instance a sole proprietor (business registration, tax payer, memorandum of association, non relevance, localization plan....

Hey Eilenora, Fanshawe College also advised me not to start my course without study permit, i was supposed to start fall of this year but I had to defer till Jan 2021. I guess they are just a confused bunch. See ehn just follow your instinct honestly because as it is right now, nobody knows whats going to happen eventually.
Eilenora:
Hello,

This is contrary to what Fanshawe just sent to me. Kindly copy and paste the content of their email to you? I just did on my last post.

Approximately 30000CAD per year to cover for tution, flight and living expenses.

He's a farmer and a vendor to manufacturing industry. I provided all his contract document with the company, his vendors ledger for past 3 years, and his cocoa bean delivery certificate with this companies. The statement also show the name of the company as they pay him on vertually per month for his delivery.

I showed just a landed property I inherited from my pman.

Thanks a lot sir, God bless you for your concern.

My sponsor has decided to send me my one year cash to my personal account. I might also pay sm semesterling tuition. This is not a guarantee I know but I believe but I must answer them in a way I didn't do before and I will put all in God's hand.

I will draft a LOE to tackle all this claims and I will also attach a copy of the denial letter in my next application. This all I could reason now. I welcome any additional help. God bless us all

just saw this on a thread.............

"RIP my friends.

Visa refused after AIP, on eligibility reasons. Never felt so hopeless as a Pakistani. Didn't defer. Didn't do anything that would make them reconsider my stage 1 approval.

IELTS: 8.0
Program: Bachelor's in CompSci, University of Windsor.

And yes, rejected on the same reasons they provide to everyone - especially after AIP.

Yes, I applied under SDS. I have no previous refusals. My medical and biometrics passed months ago. No criminal record, nothing."

You can certainly apply for a pgwp after completing a 1 year program but be mindful that it will only be valid for 1 year. However, if you choose to apply for a 1 year program at the start and later go for another 1 year program so that you can be eligible for a 3 year pgwp you will have to apply for another study permit with proof of funds and home tie just like you did before.

My opinion - if you can, it is better you apply for a 2 year program and save yourself the stress and uncertainty of applying for another study permit even though the chances of you getting an approval is higher once you are in Canada.

Thanks for responding. I would have loved to apply for 2yr PGD but the problem is POF.
Please if I do 1 yr PDG, and I want to do another 1year before applying for PGWP, Can I apply for another course in PGD or different course.

I want to plan my steps now

Clearly state where your family stays as home ties nevertheless, try convincing the VO that your intentions are genuine, and since you have no job yet just after NYSC you may include jobs you have done in the past, further increasing your credibility. You have a 50-50 chance as much as everyone other applicant

On the contrary, it’s not a bragging thing, it’s clearly states, the state of birth on their birth certificate. Their citizenships was not in anyway mentioned in the SOP, just states am leaving my kids and my Mum will be taking care of them and I attached birth certificate for all my family, I didn’t even attach their passport bio data page. Just my hubby, Mum and brothers bio data page. Or should I just remove birth certificate for them?

I also clearly stated as one of the reasons for choosing Canada was because of its safety when compared to other top international destinations for study, I went as far as quoting reference to the latest top safe countries in the world with their ranking.

On trying multiple times with US, don’t have any visa denial with US, he couldn’t have concluded as it isn’t stated on visa denial history section and they share database with US to confirm. I clearly stated Uk denial of years ago while I was in school.

I am a fresh Nigerian graduate with the determination to go further my studies abroad, specifically Canada because of her good immigration tolerance. Had first class in electrical engineering but I don't want to put all my hopes on scholarships, so otherwise, I want to have a good financial plan for the tuition. From my research, Memorial University and Sask are two of the cheapest there.I've calculated their tuition too but I just want more light from experienced people. Will 5m be enough for schooling and living for a year? And if not, how much should I plan on?

A friend's study permit application has been denied unofficially. Her first application was refused in 2019 because the proposed 2 years diploma program (Database Administration) "is available for less online or in closer geographical location." She upgraded to Graduate Diploma and reapplied on May 29, 2020.

St. Lawrence College, Business Analytics, Fall 2020
Paid 1st semester tuition: $12,582.70 (CAD)
Application Status: Eligibility review ongoing
NO AIP or MER
Age: 31
Works as Manager in Hubby's company
Monthly salary is N325k
Personal account balance is N10m plus
Self-sponsored but Hubby is also supporting
Hubby's account has N12m plus and earns N600k monthly
GCMS Note received today shows: REFUSED

Her husband wants me to help them review the LOE but I am not qualified to do that. Please, can the gurus help us point out what is "self-serving" in the statement? Thanks!

The statement is self-serving. Self-serving means having concern for oneself than others. Did she explain how her family will survive without her or Improve them?

Anamekele:

She needs to get an immigration lawyer in Canada who will file the judicial review for her. Mine charged $5k but if the case ends in first stage she will pay $750

The first stage which is well known as the leave stage is when the lawyer from IRCC decides to settle and accept the settlement offer from the PA's immigration lawyer in Canada instead of going through the whole Federal Court process (Judicial Review). Settlement involves reaching out to the lawyer on the other side and presenting a strong case as early as possible. As part of the judicial review application the PA's immigration lawyer will submit several pages settlement proposal to the IRCC lawyer on the other side in order to secure settlement as early as possible.

If IRCC lawyer on the other side agrees with the same position, they will offer to settle the case rather than spending the time, money and energy necessary to argue the case in Federal Court.

Majority of cases like @daadlade1 settle out of court while another immigration officer will then be handed over the application to review and make a final decision. Above all, this most often ends as an approval.

@daadlade1, you may consider making use of this route if you can afford the professional fees of an experienced attorney. Alternatively, rewrite your LOE by addressing the visa officer's concerns. Please be advised that you can't withdraw the study permit application as a decison has already been reached on the file.

It will end in praise.
