He isn't leaving again....

The man who is likely to win the Presidential elections in March has stated that he will sack Koeman and bring in Xavi.

Secondly, that Messi will be brought into the re-building process and all that. So leave am, baba wan distract us....he is going no where.

He met Suarez today to say his final byes....as Suarez heads to Turin.

noooo man...u getting it wrong, cr7 was promised a contracr extension and increased pay but after winning dt last UCL with real, Perez betrayed him and asked him to wait till after the next season because age wasn't on the side of cr7 forgetting dt bale, neyma and messi jus had improved deals from madrid n barca wich improved thier earnings and it was this same point dt juve called with dt lucrative deal, cr7 talked to perez to discuss with juve bcoz his clause was 1billion pounds and perez cash in and reduced the fee for juve o sign him, he moved to juve and even accepted a paycut from juve wich means dt he earned.more in Madrid dan in juve but juve gave him 4yr deal with option of renewal unlike madrid dt are discussion short term plans..

Were you in the room where perez and cr7 discussed about an increase in salary?? fact is cr7 never left madrid because of salary issues,, their(perez and cr7) interviews after the transfer proves this statement to be true..

As for Messi, if any club had offered barca a fee in the region of 100m, I'm sure barca would have agreed to sell, but rather Messi wanted to walk out of his contract and leave on a free transfer..

If the likes of messi, coutinho, vidal, rakitic, suarez, etc all left barca for peanuts, where do you expect them to raise funds to sign new players??

Besides madrid was relatively stable when cr7 left, unlike barca

Another possible reason why Bartomeu was reluctant to sell was that he probably didn't wanna be remembered as the president who drove Messi out of barca

But Barca board doesn't even know how to spend on players, the money made on Neymar was wasted on Dembele+ Countiho + Antonie, yet no good result
Please don't say waste. When Barca bought those players, they were among the hottest and most in formed players in their clubs. That they did not replicate the form at Barca does not mean it was waste. They may still pick up next season

I am sure you did not read the article otherwise, you would have seen where the Father fo Messi QUOTED excerpts from the Contract, about the release clause! No sheeshee money is applicable if he leaves AT THE END OF HIS CONTRACT IN 2018/2019 Season that has just finished.

La Liga and Barcelona are just arm-twisting Messi, as a Foreigner, knowing that his leaving will send their value tumbling down. This is very unfair and l am not a fan of Messi or Barca at all, dem too dey dive.

But if l were Messi, l will just be scoring OWN GOALS and blasting chances sky-high, nobody will tell them before they put me on leave for the next one year, if they wont allow me leave. I will even get Nose injury sef. angry grin

This is particularly laughable.

Wetin you think say CAS-court of arbitration for sports dey for?

Yes and Barca reserves the rights to ask for a high fee because when he signed it...he was smiling to the bank.

Once its January, he is free to talk with clubs.
The contract says he could walk away a free agent at the end of each season. We all know that 2019/2020 season was extended due to COVID-19. So why's Barca claiming the season ended June 10th?

Las las Messi will come out the ultimate winner in this saga despite sacrificing his happiness for a year.

relax which mind?? isnt it better to cash in on him now that lose him for free next season?? a 200m in the purse can go a long way in getting 2 or 3 players in the market than keeping an unhappy player dt would still end up leaving after jus a season....dts bad business

The club Board should all the shot in the eyes for making such poor business decisions angry

Messi would be free as Freetown by next year that his contract would be over while Barcelona eyes go clear and they would be singing "had I know". What more do they want from someone that have won them all the trophies they deserved for over 19years and still counting
and you think they don’t know of this possibility before holding him hostage? A lot happens in a year and just as you think Messi will leave next year it’s also a possibility he will renew. A lot happens in a year

Messi, I think, made it bad business. I am not comparing but when Ronaldo wanted to leave Madrid, we never heard of a transfer request or the rest...they went into the room and spoke and announced it.

Zidane, Beckham...so many players did same without a fuss. I think he tried to armtwist the club by attempting to walk away from the contract, so the club had to Berahino him.

Even Bartomeu's biggest critic, Laporta, stood with him on this.
Ronaldo case was different, the board can't afford to pay him his demand and that was why he left. He don't need to hand in transfer request because the club is not against him leaving.

How does Barca tends to play a player whose spirit and soul has already left the club.... So instead of cashing out on Messi for at least €150m and get someone like Lautaro Martinez for less of that fee, they decided to hold him back only to loss him for free next summer.... This Barcelona boards are clueless, we the fans are in for a very long thing......!!

Ronaldo discovered he was no longer indispensable to Perez so he decided to leave when the ovation was still high. under normal circumstance, he would have fought to keep CR7 but since he was approaching the twilight of his career, Perez felt it was a good time to sell him and 100M was too good for a 32years old.

Then why did Ronaldo accept a pay cut to join Juventus, the real reasons Ronaldo left madrid was Perez

Leave lautaro out of this he can't handle the pressure of replacing Messi just yet our lautaro needs more development before your FC Barcelona kill his career with their Messi expectations.
