I doubt if you will get your visa in less than 25days...but you can go ahead and apply for the visa. If a close to resumption, you can email your school and explain to them and explain your situation. Sometimes you can ask them to extend your last day of enrolment.

On the second hand I don't think the embassy is open at the moment. Am not sure I might be wrong double check

Hello everyone it's been a while, please my program of studies begins 26th October.

Is there hope of getting issued visa this year if i apply for visa? Has anyone applied lately?

Hello everyone, ghanks for your very helpful info here!
Please is there anyone who travelled to Aussie for studies with a child? How stressful was/is it for you? I have applied for MSc and the agent said I must go alone and arrange for my child’s joining in 3-6months of arrival so that they wouldn’t suspect I want to go there to live not to only study.
1. Do you think I can travel with my child? Shes just 3
2. Reaching there might be stressful as a newbie; accommodation, orientation and stuff; will I get an affordable daycare in the Uni or neighborhood?
If yes how expensive and or hard to get can that be?
3. Thank you
4. I have applied to GRIFFITH Uni for Master in Public Health MPH, I just saw somewhere here @babajigga said it’s expensive, please who has better options for me? Cheaper school cheaper city, where I can get job easily.
5. Anyone here that got admission via TGM education agency please

Forgot to add; Im a medical Doctor, want to go for master then subsequently do residency after (if possible) securing a PR or so

Public health won't give you anything other than two years post study work as it's not on the Skilled occupation list. To practise as a medical doctor, you have to write and pass the exam organise by AHPRA https://www.ahpra.gov.au/
PS: You can write the exam onshore or offshore, only two centres to write this exam in Africa, Egypt and South Africa, and atmost two seatings in a life time.
Also, there's nothing like cheap school in Australia as an average Msc will cost you around 4m per semester.
Apply with your kid, it is easier to get a grant in a single application than subsequent entrant.

Change your program and make sure is on SOL, preferably Social work or go ahead and change while onshore but this will cost you money and time.

Before you choose a course. Spend time on the SOL list and see. Most healthcare courses are good. Maybe you should consider social work. Nursing.....

They pay good and easy to get PR.

Your age is not the issue, a friend got his Visa @ 35. For Masters. That's why I often recommend using an agent. Even before my agent collected money from me they looked at all my documents and saw that i had a really good chance. .

But guys Australia is a little tough at the moment. The covid has put most international students in a hard place. So think am well.

I have a funny question

For the Griffith thats expensive, with MSc at around 32500 / year

If i get the entire 32500 before coming in for 1 year, will it be easy to get the other 32500 while working there? That means I have like 1 year headstart

Nobody can guarantee you this, not even now that Coro has interrupted nearly all sectors and will take a while for things to be back to normal, also its depend on individual and location.

Relaxation for temporary visa holders to enter the country but same yardstick will be use to issue visa.

It depends on how tough you are. Some people raise that money during vacation. But covid has changed things but with God man you can do it.
