I’m using a C90 Plate Compactor

- 5.5hp Robin Petrol engine
- Weight 125kg

Good for most residential projects (foundation, landscaping small plots etc).

I don’t have closer pic of the compactor but here’s a short video while using it on a project.

The compacting machine is very nice
But the guy that quoted 15k per day for 20days which resulted to 300k for only compaction is a Thief.
When you can compact a whole plot of land of about 650msq in just a day for just 15k

The overall sqm is about 6,000sqm. There’s no way we could achieve 650sqm in a day when the same compound is filled with interlocking stones.

It’d be easier compacting 650sqm in a day if we are buying the stones or producing in a different site.

The reason for on-site production is to cut off the cost of transporting the stones to site. We were able to save over 500k using this approach.

I have never seen a ceiling fan installed on pop before. Considering the nature of ceiling fan(little shaking and vibration), I think it will crack the pip with time.

It has been done severally. Check various threads of Spyder880 for samples. You dont install the ceiling fan directly on the POP, rather on roofing wood or if decking on a specialized hook incorporated into the concrete slab during decking process. Thanks.

Baba, trucks too needs space to move too. We first delivered 8 trucks during production.

I had to ask molders to spread out so that we won’t spend millions moving stones.

Beside this, we also spend a whole day to move the interlocking bricks closer to the next area we are compacting.

I couldn’t use the open field because the landscaper has treated and planted field.

I think we produced over 200,000 stones.

Our people are sometimes too stuck in their ways.

For the concrete block machine with the 6" mould that produces 8 pieces at a time, and/or 9" mould that produces 5 pieces at a time. Cost is N2,200,000.

For medium sized one with the 6" mould that produces 5 pieces at a time, and/or 9" mould that produces 4 pieces at a time. Cost is N1,700,000.
