Lady Shares Pictures Of Injuries Inflicted On Her Mum By Her Dad (Disturbing Photos)

IgbereTV reports that a 21-year-old lady, identified as Gloria Ezeobi, has accused her dad of domestic violence towards her mum. She shared photos of her mother with the injuries inflicted on her.

Gloria Ezeobi, a student of pharmacy at LUTH, said her parents have been married for 22 years and her father, Sunday Vincent Ezeobi, has allegedly been "brutally beating" her mother, Maureen Ezeobi, for all of those years.

According to her, her father's apprentice also beats her mum in front of her dad. She said the alleged domestic violence from her dad has caused her mother to have miscarriage twice.

She said that the mother reported to the police but they did nothing. Gloria claimed her father also abuses her and her sister and that he once stripped her naked and flogged her with a fan belt before sending her out of the house late at night.

She said her father also regularly locks her mother out of the house, causing her to sleep in the streets for days. She said her father has boasted that nothing can be done to him.

She said her father said to them: "My money will get me anything in Nigeria so no one can save you."

I deeply have a problem with abusive men, I strongly opposed the abuse of anyone, girl, boy, woman or man by anyone.. that said, I strongly believe bringing such sensitive and private family issues to social media is really wrong. There's the place of the extended family, religious heads and if it's still not handled properly to the traditional ruler. Bringing her dad here is only going to create more enemity and hate in that family. Not everything should be brought to social media. The internet never forgets.

Dont marry a man that abuse you before marriage,but most women will not listen they will call it love. Am sure the reason for his useless attitude might be coz of a Male child or the man is the insecure type..

I never believe one sided stories,so the man's side must be heard. The daughter's story of being beaten holds no water to me. Nigerian Parents correct and discipline their wards all the time. I'm more worried about the spousal abuse.


SM most times makes things worse. If she can't get extended families/religious bodies to mediate,then SM can at least save the wife from abuse. Dont know if the dad would forgive such public shaming though. I won't be surprised if he stops paying her fees or something.

Full identity is not necessary. I hope she doesn't regret this someday. Wisdom should have been applied in getting help instead of broadcasting on social media. Good she saves her mum from further abuse but not through this method.
With this, I hope her father pays her school fees till she graduates and also, I hope he attends her wedding.

The appropriate authority should handle this delicate matter because even with pictorial evidence, there could be a twist.

This is very bad. However nobody has heard the own side of the man's story on what they woman used to do that warranted all these. Can there be a smoke without fire

Verdict: Don't Beat women, they are just like empty vessels making noise, ordinary push you will see her holding her chest in serious pain, instead just talk a walk or rather lodge in a nearby hotel and enjoy a peaceful night to avoid her talk.
