With the down payment of 300k, you dont need to be skeptical.
The 15k weekly is fair enough to the driver, you may advise him to increase to 20k if he can, the earkier he finishes the payment, the better for him.

Give the young man a chance, being a new driver isn't supposed to be a stumbling block. Everyone of us was once a new driver. We only create a fuss around being an old driver on the platform, every smart person will quickly adapt and learn on the job within the first few days.
As a new driver on the platform when I started, I did only uber and I was doing very well.
The most inportant thing is driving skill.

Guess I’ll need my leap of faith this time. Thanks boss

Got my car tokunbo 2003 Camry a year ago.
Had been using 5w-30 Hardex full synthetic oil since I got the car.

But just about 3weeks ago I notice my oil dropped slightly.

The check engine light isn't on

What could b the problem

From experience your engine oil seal might be worn out and leaking somewhere.. A good mechanic will need to open up the engine cover and check for leaks or worn out seal or valves ...keep in mind your car is over 15 years old with high miles .. So it is natural for things to be worn out.

Below is an example of worn out seals in one of my uber cars.. I talk about few months ago , the car was shortening oil like crazy , I was advice to use thicker oil cause car his high miles etc .. So I seek a second opinion and a nairaland mechanic open up the engine valve and we saw the worn out seals.. It was replace and oil never shorten after that.. And I still continue to use the manufacturer recommended oil 5w20.. So have it checked out .. And also check the Pcv valves too ...As a car owner try and take some initiative and research on your own .. It will help you in the long run and save u money..

And you said you use Hardex oil ... have never heard of it before, please and please research your oil before using, Google is your friend.... Let us try to be responsible car owners

Seat belt
AC
Tyers (dis doesn't include exp date)
Dent/scratches (body neatness)
Traffigators lights and headlamp
Interiors neatness
FRSC equipment
Validity of ur car documents

Fee is N2000 each

UBER from year 2000
Bolt from 2003.

If you have any dent that is visible make sure fix it b4 going.
If the dent/scratch is minor just ignore or tip them, it's not corruption, and in educational curriculum it's call led royalty (ground softening/watering) in the English man's context
The last time I took a car for an inspection, a clean tok I still tip the guy to jump que from No 25 to No3. Naxo some guus just dey look me as I dey com or because I spent notin less more 20min, else wud have spent all my day there.

So good luck

Gmap will take you almost anywhere in lagos without issue.
If you have the money or access to soft loan to get a car, go ahead. Do opt for rental or HP with your job, you can't meet up unless you're ready to dip into your pocket to settle weekly remittance.

800k-1m max good naija used car would have been good for this job, but you might not fancy naija used cars.

Good luck

I will be going for my own inspection, Bolt next week. The name on my car papers is different from my drivers license, I bought the car Nigerian used, but I haven't changed the papers to my name cus they papers are still valid till next year. I hope it won't be a problem with Bolt?
