thanks for the information I really appreciate but dis @oladotunfelix2 which one come be six month bank statement when even when I applied I used 1 month. anyway thanks.

The standard requirement is 6 months bank statement. Don’t get me wrong, I know couple of people that got visas with a bank statement that less than 6-month. To me, it is advisable to follow the application requirements

Seems he didn't pass his question across well. He has gotten his dependent visa, just asking if he needs his bank statement at POE.

@kcfastshooter, is this correct sir?

Hi everyone. Quick question:

Are walk in appointments still available at the Lagos or Abuja TLS offices?

Also how do I go about getting a walk-in appointment?

Goodevening All,

Please i need advice on how to go about applying for Uk tourist Visa with my 3 year old daughter.

*** i have a sister who is married in the UK but my main intention is to stay like 1-2 nights at her house since i want to pay for hotel (I like privacy) while main purpose of visit to give my daughter opportunity to explore other countries.

** I earn N346K monthly, I liquidated my investment (1.8m) and also sold a shares of about 200k into my salary account last month with my cooperative of 470k to drop by mid september to enable me have enough money. By end of sept, i should have 2.8m and i want to apply in 2nd week of October.

*** I plan to travel in Dec

*** I have only traveled once out of naija to dubai and my daughter has never traveled out.

*** Also, my husband isn't in the country, do i need to add him to picture?

** Kindly assist with what i need to present, probably a sample cover letter, do i need to apply for my daughter seperately?

Your swift response will be appreciated.

I don't think you should mention you are staying with your sister as it might make things complex.

You can do a cover letter explaining the inflow of cash into your accounts.

It's okay to indicate married in the relationship status but I don't think it's necessary explaining where your husband is.

Yes, you need to apply for your daughter but you are the primary applicant.

When filling your visa form you will be prompted to indicate the individuals you are travelling with.

You can use any sample cover letter online or just state what you want to say in the additional information box

Your salary is decent enough. Goodluck!

√ There is nothing wrong in mentioning her sister and it will not any way complicate things. If she wants to visit her sister, she should state it and give how many days she will be there. Note- In the application she will be asked if she has any family or friend in the UK. I will advise she state yes and she will also be asked if visiting them, yes should be the answer.

√ It is very important to let the eco know where y husband stays because of future applications. If your hubby is in abroad put the country and beside the eco does not have any biz where y hubby is. Just tell them the location and be truthful.

U will fill two visa forms and pay two visa fees for you and your daughter. Then in your form add that you would be travelling with ur daughter.
Your salary is good enough as well as all your additional investments, pls dont joke with the paper evidence to show the origin of each and every of these funds and try not to let the amounts be cumbersome.
So that the visa officers dont get confused, next lazy to check thru all ur financial documnts and then end up denying u.
So keep it simple and explain very very well These financial transactions.
Write a letter explaining like u re talkin to a child each one of these figures and their paper evidence attached

For your sister, since you are staying at a hotel. When u are askd if u have a family in the uk yes u state so and so .. ur sister.. if u dnt want to stay with her state it exactly as u have written above. U like ur privacy. Thats a good enuff reason. There’s no law tht states u must visit family or friend in the uk whilst u are there, the important thin is to mention to the eco that u do have family there.

True, there's nothing wrong in mentioning her sister (as she is visiting her) and I didn't say she shouldn't.

My recommendation is based on the fact that she is only staying there for a few days then moving to a hotel.

Unless the husband is a sponsor, it is not necessary dragging him into the application.

Personally, there's no need making a rather straightforward application complex by offering unsolicited information.

Anyhoo, it's her application to do with as she sees fit.

Even if just visiting in few days, she have to state it. Except she doesn't want to visit.

She is not dragging the hubby in the application. If she state she is married, then she need to write details of her hubby location, all these are asked in the application letter.

There is no adding unsolicited information. Always tell the truth in application bc lies in application have away of getting back to you. Speaking from experience.

Good morning house. Please is there anyone whose EEA FAMILY PERMIT visa expired due to covid? If yes what was the process of getting a visa replacement? Did you reapply or email home office for a replacement of visa? Thanks

That refusal letter is dated 2013, besides visit visa's have no right of appeal.

Personally, i think the ECO isn't convinced he earns that much, otherwise a salary of over N400k in 2013 was good for visa purposes. Again, a man with 2kids going on tourism alone does sound one kind.

ok thanks
