A good investment advice would be to tell people to buy USD now that it is weak, and sell GBP which is on a high rate. But you are saying the opposite. Anyway, do you, my friend. . Na you get your money. Lol.

Anyone that claims to know is a fraudster. Did anyone predict that GBP will ever break 1.300 in 2020? During this COVID pandemic? Oga I know any transaction history can have its details brought to light by a single click under a second.
But the question is,how do you identify which is legit and which is shady?
Algorithms don't go into the minds of people to know why they are transferring what funds.
They are just an electronic bank for data and how to group categories electronically.
Eg I might be transferring 4m tomorrow to pabod.
Chiedu might be transferring same 4m to Joshua tomorrow for backdoor forex deals,etc...
An algorithm of all 4m transfers that took place tomorrow will bring up the names of chinedu and I.
But you need a solid lead to know or even suspect why I transferred that 4m to joshua.

Algorithms are not magic.Humans make mistakes which lead to leads,then algorithms,some switching before apprehension.
Without a lead,your algorithm is useless.

I really don’t like to comment on threads, as I prefer to just observe. But... I wanted to do something for humanity today.

For those who have ears, you really should listen to awesomej and sell your dollars if you still have some right now at this late hour. The price is gonna balance with the official rate soon.

I don’t need anyone to believe me or counter me. Na just advice I dey give. I already made my own buck. Converted all my naira savings/investments to USD at 370 back in March when I felt the pressure coming. I converted all of them back to naira at 470 immediately they announced opening of the international airport (As I knew BDC would have to open to retailers). I have successfully dodged the bullet of devaluation and inflation and even gained a lot. If you are still holding dollars, OYO is your case o, unless you’re willing to wait another 4 to 5 years, when something drastic would happen and there’d be pressure again on the currency.

It will cost you a whole lot to complete these buildings, since you don't have a good job at the moment. If the buildings are in good location, contact a reputable developer to complete them and have contract agreement on how to share the proceed from rent. It could be 20/80 or 30/70 say for certain number of years

Forget property 2 for now. For property 1,
1. Borrow money (from a bank or any one willing to lend) and use the house as security/collateral. 2. Use loan proceeds to finish the house and put tenants in the other flats.
3. Use tenants’ rent to repay loan and get your house back from bank/lender.
I’m assuming location is in a decent part of Ogun state and that the loan will be manageable because it is just finishing left. Also assuming that it is in a desirable location for tenants and lender. Any additional funds from tenants in property 1 can be used to gradually work on property 2. Who knows, you fit even get one correct job next year and complete property 2 with your own funds.

You could find another job, if u know how to drive and can raise some cash u could buy a bus or a car. Drive it ur self for now. I don't know what job you currently hold but it easily beats those 60, 70k a month jobs.

Hey, no easy way out of this so you know. You need to put your time to work and invest in yourself. No office work will give you a head up in Nigeria since you’re a dropout. I was in your situation 10 yrs ago and I made it today, because I opted to work for myself instead of another.

I advice you should sell one of the assets and start a biz. Become an entrepreneur by that you’ll feed everyone, fund their sch fees and finish the other building as well.

Don’t collect loan from any bank neither should you use the money to reinvest on another property.

I don’t care if you’re a lady or not, biz is for everyone. My time in computer village ladies like you made millions weekly so you know. Entrepreneurship is not bad

Please be very careful with developers. Not many people that have gone that route are happy with the decision. The sharing formula typically doesn’t favour the owner of the property in the long run.

A bank or other credible lenders will take the property as collateral. But this depends on the location of the property as location is the key driver of the valuation of the property. That’s why I was asking for the location. Please go to your bank and discuss with them. I don’t think you can use the rent for your upkeep immediately as you will have to service the loan with a huge chunk of rents received in the initial one or two years.

Pls lets get right informations out. The companies they talked about here have nothing to do with speculation of dollars. It's clearly stated that thier account were frozen because of tax issues.

We all know you need cheap dollars and for you to get that you need people holding on to it to sell. More reason you are creating the fear factor.
