Hey big men and ladies in programming, I just realized I need someone to mentor me on web development.

Like now, I know how to use basic JavaScript. But I just figured I can only get connected if I have a mentor. So big fellas, I need someone to be my oga.


I promise, I will be very loyal like a dawg.


But, I don't have money cos I'm a student in Delta State polytechnic.

Can You Clarify This line, and importantly Mentors don't charge for mentorship unless you want a coach.

Your mentality will pursue potential mentors even if they mentor for free.
You have to always pay back with something, if it's not money then it has to translate to money by creating value for the mentor either by working for them for free or by completing little tasks from time to time. I have a lot of mentees that do my subscription for me and do a lot for me even though I've been mentoring them for free. The plan was always to do it for free but nothing is actually free in this world at the end of the day.

It's because, like me, mentorship is not your main focus. You're probably an engineer that happens to have some free time to help out beginners from time to time.
