You will be taught. But you could save yourself some unnecessary heart ache by learning some basics at home, like getting rid of the fear of water.

Don't bother to register online or join this job if you think some specialties will not be posted to certain locations. I can confirm to you that there are doctors, engineers, naval police, etc in the heart of the crisis in the North East and other parts.

What department would you suggest a Petroleum Engineering graduate to apply for. I can’t find Petroleum Engineering among the fields listed.

I remember my paddy way joined a while back, He was ahead of me in uni by one year. I told him, if you join there is a high chance you go borno state, He think say I dey lie, las las Na Baga them post am grin . Thank God he survived with just slight injuries nigga turned black with red eyes grin

If your department is not listed then I honestly don't know. Not every course is needed, no matter the relevance in other areas or jobs. You can however try your luck in Engineering. The prospects are poor though.

Is it bad to apply for both the Navy dssc and Army Dssc. Will it in anyway affect shortlisting?

You can use ur statement of result n get an attestation letter from ur department.

Secondly, in most schools, essential staffs are on duty. U can make enquires to know if u can get ur certificate
Is it possible to atleast write the exams with your statement of result after shortlisting then within that period get your certificate if you eventually pass the exams

Navy guyz dey Baga, even their SBS special forces and that place is the center of ISWAP activities
