And FYI, talking of high altitude regions, mount kenya is a no go zone. Currently the regions within have been blanketed with fog. The dew in Nairobi is slightly beyond visibility during peek hours.

My Kenyan peeps whats up with the military getting involved in different sectors of the economy. They are now slowly penetrating into the food sector and I am afraid that they can use this to their advantage in times of crisis.

Am I the only who's noticing this?

No biggie , let them do. As long as there is no looting and pondering of resources, We good to go. NMS aka the general is doing a good job. We 'hope' this will help behedge the misfortunes corruption from corrupt cartels if not 2022 pre-drama.

Tough to predict - when we COVID-19 is still active globally. This year and next year - just write them off. I believe many countries will quickly recover. This is not a war - this is an extended vacation.

The military has proven to be effective and competent I see nothing wrong with that

kenya military running big sector of our economy has absolutely nothing close to dictatorship or maybe what you may think bro. .. But you might think you have heard it all until you hear in quotes. "waxhinku wanataka kuweka kambi yao ya wanajeshi kenya" that's when you'll know things are not going well.

The road to hell is paved with good intention. There is good reason why military has been kept in the barracks and why kenya has not had military take over and resultant chaos. Ask Nigerians who are messed up largely because of that.

Military should quickly be sent back to barracks and kept there. If Uhuru GENUINELY WANTS TO fix Nairobi or KMTC - there are many good people out there with right skills.

The more they run civilian sectors - the more we okay a military take over in case of a small political crisis.
