You can't modify genes. She did not choose her gender, you're right. Her gender is male whether she has willy or not. They are applying the same grace they applied to those who chose their gender. Na human rights issue. Both her and the ones who chose their gender already have some inbuilt competitive advantage from the testosterone they had during puberty which would have given them more height, more bone density and better muscle mass. The testosterone reduction does not completely equalise things but it is fairer than doing nothing.
