Option A4 is the open-ballot system.

I have queue in front of the poster of my candidate.

That system is not advisable with the nature of our politicians presently, before they send thugs or use one as shooting practice.

Any of his actions is useless without solid electoral amendment.

The Judiciary will still stick to old and what constitution provides

E-voting is the best option with that all electorates votes from the comfort of their homes without influence or intimidation....

E-Voting will change many things in the area of campaigns cos it will be done mostly electronically and results released electronically.

The major challenge will now be system hacking which am believing can be addressed if Nigeria goes to that direction.

Option A4 is the open-ballot system used in 1993 during the MKO time.

If I want A....I will put a box in front...you queue behind
If I want B...I have to queue behind the box B.

That system is not advisable with the nature of our politicians presently, before they send thugs or use one as shooting practice.

Rolling on the floor cheesy
if they try am now, before you know it, Box B will be exchanged to Box A.

nahh I think FG will liaise with NBC or minister for information to partner with MTN, Glo, Airtel & 9mobile to ensure price remains stable and affordable to village dwellers in electioneering period. I'm more worried about hackers.

Voting is not the problem collection of results is ....results should be counted before everyone and transmitted to inec server from each polling unit

There should be CCTV in ever polling unit ...if there is a disagreement the cctv should be used

Collection is where rigging is done ...if u remove power from collection centers it would be hard to rig ...no man can rig all the polling units

The Judiciary will still uphold the laws/constitution and make a mess of actions he took. Card reader is a typical example
Re: If You Were The Inec Chairman, What Method Of Voting Would You Recommend? by fergie001: 6:54pm On Sep 09, 2020
My own take....there have to be serious amendments to our electoral laws.

=We have to make use of the card readers. I know some do malfunction, so we have to start looking at why and profer solutions.

=Transmit results from PUs directly to the State & National Offices (INEC) in the presence of all agents. Counting and movement from PU to Wards 2 LG etc....is where the real magic happens.

=Do you punish electoral offenders? I don't think we have seen any electoral offender paraded before the TV and docked, maybe for years. We have to start thinking in that direction.

=We have to find a way to teleguide our Security men. They have to liaise with the traditional leaders to ensure synergy.
Someone has to be held responsible in every PU and be severely punished if found culpable. (Not Audio Punishment o)

In the long-run, using advanced Technology systems like BVN/Electronic Voting is strongly advised but not for 2023 because we don't have an efficient DMS and it is sudden.
Hackers will have a field day, but maybe, when we start preparing ourselves......God keeping us alive, 2027.
