folarinstr: @folarinstr, I would suggest you go to the "Visa Journey" website and get more information. You will be able to engage actively with those who are currently processing their CR-1 and IR-1. Cheers! |

folarinstr: Life is Virginia is pretty calm and good. I happened to visit New York and didn't like it a bit. Now the Virginia Beach area, Chesapeake and some parts of Norfolk that i know are safe. Down town Norfolk is not a safe neighborhood from what I've heard, people complain a lot about it. |

Vatod: Try and assure her that it safe to visit and it also depends on where she's coming to. My boyfriend is coming down here to lagos and i assured him that it is pretty safe to be in Lagos. 1 Like |

Vatod: @Vatod, As Shakiratemma said, you need to reassure her of her safety. An alternative will be for both of you to meet in a nearby country like Ghana or even Togo, and probably stay there together for about a week. The choice is yours. You just have to plan accordingly. 1 Like |

Re: USA Fiancee (K1) Visa Thread by select500: 4:54pm On Sep 10, 2020 |
folarinstr: @folarinstr, It seems the Nigerian Consulate in the USA just resumed their Visa-issuing services, for those who want to travel to Nigeria. I also believe the current isolation period is 7 days and not 14 weeks, after arrival in Nigeria. There are also particular Airlines and other COVID-19 conditions to be met. ( Check the relevant Government websites for more info) Any other person with more information can let us know here. Cheers! |

select500:I'm not very sure if Nigeria consulate is working in the US because my wife check or rather called them today to confirm if they have resumed but yhe said no. Her visa expires in April 2020 and she couldn't renew it due to covid-19 lockdown... |
Re: USA Fiancee (K1) Visa Thread by folarinstr: 9:34pm On Sep 10, 2020 |
JayOkonkwo: Well, concerning your wife visa, i learnt nigeria now issue visa on arrival, so i guess she would have the visa here and not there. You can make more genuine findings though Also, i learnt Delta airline landed in nigeria today but i still.want to know if americans came with it to visit nigeria or does it convey only nigerians coming back home? What i mean is, are americans now allowed to visit nigeria amidst the covid 19 Pls i await a reliable answer, thanks |
