he can only trend and stay relevant by trending on pastors , he knows nigerians will be interested to hear what he will say. he tried using politicians and saw that ppl were not interested . i take him to be a buisness man that knows what the ppl want to hear . so he is just giving them what they want.

When Paul talked about husband loving his wife as Christ love his church and gave his life to it. He talks about Sacrificial love of the husband to his wife. One that does not think of his own gain but that of his wife. One that will not consider self first before his wife. Was Paul talking about husband being a slaughter goat?

Submission on the other side by the wife to her husband is not that of a slave to her master but a submission in love in every sense as the Bible puts it.

Freeze can be selective just to gain audience without looking at the Bible holistically. Bible is to be read verse by verse to understand the Author's intended meaning alone.

What Bishop Oyedepo preached doesn't warrant Freeze argument....because the scripture is clear...it is either you want too capital in your ship or there should be one captain and absolute responsible for the copilot...
Whatever you want to run your family....it your choice..the Muslim faithful will just be making jest of us because in this kind of argument....it is clearly spelled out in Quran and there is no basis for an argument.....

Why have we been arguing about this issue. How many of us here have actually take the time to read the scripture being debated. How do you argue what you don't know. This is the problem of self acclaimed Christians of our time. We go to church but don't have time to check the scriptures to know if truly we are working in its light. Pls how do one become a medical doctor without him studying medicine?or how do one become a professional driver without knowing the rules of driving. This is the main reason why thing are the way they are in Nigeria. We want the fruit and not the labor. The bible has said it that we should study to show our selves approved,a workman that need not be ashamed rightly dividing the words of truth. This i believe applies to every area of our being. To the youths, we have to stop sitting and waiting for everything to be handed to us. We have to start from a place of preparation so we are better suited for the job to be down. Our parents never waited for hand outs, neither are they ready to to hand over. So like them we should strive to takeover and make our country great so our children don't think of leaving to the white man's land for greener pasture. I believe we can make our land greener . As for your claim about life experiences not amounting to insult. What happened between freeze and Oyedepo was a case Freeze attempting to directly rubbish Oyedepo's stand on a issue. And it bacfiree spectacularly just like the rest. We all know how freeze likes to personally insult Oyedepo too well so stop saying it is life experiences driven opinion.

I have had cases where pastors were preaching about salary, of husbands being open with their salaries to their wife. And the pastor went further to explain how he does his with his wife, how it has worked in his home (I turned deaf ears immediately because I know that's not for me) .
And I have had other couples (I personally know) doing the opposite of what the pastor preached, which makes their home stand well as well.

Now the point is, leave imagining what Freeze is saying, or what he is attempting since he only had a contrary opinion. If Freeze's opinion works for him, very fine, if Bishop Oyedepo's opinion is for you, fine as well. But taking a contrary opinion as an insult is awful.


Then the part you said backfired, no no no... It ended up as a serious backfire for Salvation ministry and their pastor. In fact as a Christian, I am still looking for where to borrow shame for them. You don't go preaching corona virus is ordinary malaria....... and then come with a racist comment that your congregation cheered, then go in for another country (Somalia) and also asking for someone's parent, and cap it with his profession. Verse 21 says we all should submit ourselves to the fear of God, other verses says wife submits while husband should Love his wife

Did Christ not submit himself to the church ?

Well in this particular context, he is totally wrong
A wife aught to be submissive to his husband. The husband remains the Head of the home. This present generation sees submission as enslavery and that's wrong. In a home it is believed that both man and woman should be submissive to themselves because it a relationship and 2 cannot work unless they agree.
