I dunno but it's kinda easy to know it's Jet Li.

His lips was quite visible. Even the eyes and nose was conspicuous.

Mulan .......6/10

It was fun and entertaining..... though some fight scenes were cartoonish (especially the no blood Disney policy) it was decent. Cinematography was great, sound mixing was great.. that end credits song is superb. It could have been better but it was always gonna be in its Original's shadow, since most folks will use it as a metric.

So na Mushu them turn to glorified Phoenix (abi peacock).


If it wasn't an adaption if the Animation it could have earned a 7. I don't get the hate from some viewers about the movie. I'll say it was unfulfilled expectations set by too high standards. With Disney's recent Live Actions I find it funny for one to expect so much from Disney, given such records.


Now let's wait for incoming live actions : Pinocchio, Cruella, 101 Dalmatians. etc..

Second Charlie Kaufman film I've seen after Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. It was hard to follow at first. I think it's one of those movies you have to watch twice with full attention to fully get but when you get it, you appreciate the movie. It's adapted from a novel (which I have to read now) but the only problem with it was trying to figure out if some of the dialogue was about the characters or just to distract the viewer.
PS: If you do not have patience for dialogue heavy films and films that contemplate themes like mortality, death, loss e. t. c, you might not enjoy this film.

Rumor mill is that Wonder Woman 1984 might get pushed back AGAIN. With eyes on early/mid November or early December release. In essence of it gets a December release DUNE is getting pushed to 2021.

WB wants Tenet to get enough time to leg out in the box office to make hard cash.. Releasing WW84 so close to it will hurt it's numbers.


PS. Black Widow also considering moving. If Disney does, WB puts WW84 in it's date Nov. 6.
If not takes Dune December release as the only Tent Pole of Holliday season(December).

Trolls World Tour 7/10

The music was really good. Though I wished some genres got more full performances, like Classical and Reggaeton. Story was alright, with a nice theme worked into it. And the cast really did a good job with the voices, making the characters likeable and engaging.

One of the fav things i saw last year. Emma Thompson is a gem and Mindy Kaling wasn't bad as well, both had enough good chemistry to see the movie thru.

I've been meaning to watch it for a while. I really wanted to watch it when it came out, but my silly cinema kept showing it at 1pm (obviously at work), so never got to see it. Fortunately, it's on Amazon, I'm very surprised that some folks hate this film.

I've observed that when someone rates/reviews a movie some folks will suddenly start quoting the person that he/she has a bad taste in movies, doesn't know how to watch movies or too generous with rating and blah blah.

The way you view things isn't the same way every other person view things. So, stop expecting people to hate a movie and give it bad reviews just because you hate the movie. You are you.

The fact that you can't rate a particular movie over 4/10 doesn't mean another individual shouldn't like the movie and rate it over 7/10.

The Good son 1&2.I don't fancy nollywood movies,but the old ones are kinda interesting.Plus she wants 9ja movies,so she got it.Will be watching Broken Marriage in the evening/night.
