What I'm saying is.

You can only enter Oniru from Ozumba lane heading towards the lekki toll gate, you can't enter from Ozumba lane facing Falomo Bridge.

All the roads that form a perimeter around Four points Hotel are one way drives. That means if you are on that road, you can't make a U turn on same road n face the opposite direction.

Signs are there, it's not yet updated on Google map. So d heads up is for guys who r not familiar wt d new devpt.

Before Gmap leads one into... grin

I appreciate bro.

I hope they've been treating you guys well at the shop and no one had a problem getting their free diagnosis?

I did mine yesterday and was well attended to.

Guess there is a disconnect in communication between the front end and aunty radu end.
The 8k for free diagnosis.....keeps coming up.
Told my driver to find his way this morning

Yes, I think there's a disconnect as you said but the rest na story. It's not easy to render such service for free and that's why you experience what you experienced.

Thanks madam Rad.

If I were looking for a car, I’d prefer HP. The only downside is having to pay twice the price. At 1.5x a reasonable car price, I think HP is indeed a better option.

What if it was just 50% of the total sum? And the intended driver partner would be the one to recommend or provide the car to be bought and also suggest his preferred payment timeline?

Would it be worthwhile?

I have been reading your posts, and i am very impressed at your thoughtfulness, sir. I really love the perspective you are bringing to this Rental-HP comparison.

I have been a fan of HP, but from your contributions, i think i have been looking at it from the angle of the owner-partner and situation of the car alone. The driver-partner deserves some consideration as well, just like you have said.

I think a middle ground should be preached instead. Driver contracts with owner on a rental basis, but with the possibility of ownership of car through HP if he is consistent with payment remittances.

As much as the e-hailing venture could be thought of as a transient hustle for most people at the onset, but time flies and sometimes things dont go as planned. So, a middle ground arrangement could be useful in helping the driver move on if his other plans click or acquire the car if things dont go according to plan. Either way, it is a win-win for both parties.

What do you guys think? I am really learning here.

When a driver decides to discontinue a HP contract, it is not really a Win situation for the partner

Most drivers would prefer a Tokunboh for HP because it has not been abused yet. If a driver breaches his HP contract, who will take the car on HP again?

So most likely, the partner may begin to lose.

Anybody going into HP should be ready to faithful to the last. If you quit, you have left the partner in the middle of the sea.

I just saw that EmptyIgboDunce is still jocking my strap. Please is there anyone who made the appointment and mentioned the coupon at time of making the appointment as instructed, went and was still charged? Also, is there anyone who went and did not get the diagnosis they were promised? Please signify. Thank you.

Bad news spread faster than good news.Plenty of hard working drivers are completing Hp deal every year. I will still come back here to inform you the Hp deal has been fully paid.

If you are a family man with kids and ur wife is jobless, you're not Qualify.

If your house rent is above 200k annual, my hp not for u.

B4 i agree HP with u, you must have driven for me, minimum of 3months.

Any driver who signs this is making a mistake.

@Jp, when there is an engine default, kindly notify the driver how much you will contribute in either fixing it or getting a new one, it should be in percentage and also stated in the agreement.
Dont just say you will assist the driver without putting the percentage into cognizant.
Big daddy's engine is around 240k, in a situation like this, how much are u contributing? you can decide u wanna help out with 10k in a bill that's over 200k afterall there aint no sharing formular in the agreement (that's smart of you Jp)
Spell everything out, no hidden clause, dont use a coded way to exempt yourself from certain responsibilities.
If a driver is paying 30k weekly, then u should handle a larger share when there is an engine default.

Drivers should also take their time to read and check for hidden clause when it comes to signing an agreement.

Posted this at the beginning of the week:

@aunt radu; @gazzuzz, the bolded, copied from a site, best describes my ordeal:

the misfire is only at idle, under no load, and disappears when i press the gas pedal. So to keep the engine alive, l need to constantly keep throttling. However, to prevent this my mech has had to raise the rpm

@the bolded has also been suggested as a probable cause:
Or, the better approach, is to test the resistance on the injectors to make sure it's not an internal electrical failure

Also got a code reading from the bolded:
Do you have other codes, especially for engine management sensors like MAP/MAF/TPS/EGR?

Below is the solution the site proffered:
the most common issue on older cars is a vacuum leak (or dirty throttle body / idle air control valve). Best first step: clean the throttle body and IAC.

Your input is highly appreciated.

Its been confirmed that its an electrical issue, expecting to meet with a rewire tomorrow at oyingbo and he's billed me 18k. I feel its on the high side, anyone with a contact of someone who is good at this rewire thing should please drop his/her contact. Thanks

My style of dealing. If you have, engine or gear problem, i will take you to ladipo pay for it 100%, then u work and refund me. I don't add percentage on the engine and gear or anything.

I have made enough income from the Hp agreement.

When someone have a bias mind against somebody, they will be looking for any possible way to call you out.

Did you see if you default weekly payment above 6times, what is the standard in Hp agreement 3times. I do 6times.

Bring all those Corolla ur cousin send to you from America and put in HP, why are you selling them?

How much should driver pay weekly?

In standard hp agreement nothing concern owner, with engine and gear.
but i have done it with all my hp drivers. Even the ones that have finish paying me still come back for help.
