Once the transfer fee is over 10M he will granted work permit

Work permit rules are not tied to cost but appearances with national team and FIFA national team rating.

The transfer fee also matters...plus the players's performance in his previous club..

Iheanacho,Success and Ndidi didn't play much for the super eagles before they moved to England...

The person that posted it should have dropped the ratings of Nigerian players too..
As far as I know, only the top 100 rated players have their official ratings released..

I tried searching for the ratings of player by clubs but it only shows that of their players in the top 100..

Same here I've been trying to navigate the platform

The person who posted it seems to be credible though but I won't be surprised if it is the actual ranking, it's not unlike EA

EVASION It's apparently obvious for once YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SAY.

What was the subject matter? the Segunda División is very poor in all respects and the quality of players very poor.

My proposition was very clear, a club earning promotion from a poor 2nd tier league does not automatically mean the team has become higher quality.

To be objective and without prejudice a comparison has to be made.

La Liga is the best league in the World arguably.
So let's compare the Segunda División to the Championship. To ascertain that supposed progressive quality.

I have given two comparative units of measurement to make an objective deduction upon.

1. A comparison of the entire Segunda División transfer expenditure to just the expenditure of Fulham FC.

2. Comparison of mid table Stoke FC. Showing just one team in the Segunda División that can match just 25% of the quality of players in their squads in a like for like comparison, player to player.

That should end the discussion.

They should go and sit down. There is absolutely nothing to talk about here. Just like they didn't jump off a bridge when he scored back to back hattricks they should also remain mentally stable when he doesn't score.

I know many will jump to thier antagonistic views with my comments.

I said before that pre season games are just warm up games that nobody takes overly serious. Particularly with opposition from the 4 tier of Italian football.

The real test as I said months ago will be when he plays in a team. Where he Victor is not the focus and where the game plan is no longer centred on him alone.

Seria A is not French league.

Italian league is tactically and technically superior to the French league, pace alone will not be enough, he is going to have to learn quick improve and adapt his game.

I have not given Victor all these premature over stated accolades.

My view is if he can score 10/12 goals he would have done well enough. But the expectations of the huge transfer fee may require a lot more from the fans and the coaching staff.

Any foreign born player should join the Nigerian team now or it may be too late. In the next 2 to 5 years even foreign borns will find it difficult for 2 reasons

1. Our grassroot football is working and players from our youth team and academies are getting better. Who knows where samdon tijani, olakunle olusegun, hillary gong, akinkunmi amoo e.t.c will be a few years from now.

2. The number of foreign born pkayers are many and so they may be down the pecking order even among their foreign born.

Emmanuel Dessers is lucky he took his chance. The idea that foreign borns are better is overrated and maybe a thing of the past. Barcelona has an academy in lagos there is nff futures u15 and so one great player can emerge at anytime.

This Nigeria Starting 11 Could Be A Force To Reckon
By David Maigari - September 10, 2020

The Super Eagles of Nigeria would return to international duty next week for the first time since the Coronavirus and fans have been anticipating to see the new flock of young talents back on the pitch so they could watch their favorite in the green colors once again.

One of the Super Eagles’ talent in the person of Victor Osihmen became Africa’s most expensive player after an 80 million pounds move (plus add ons) from Lille to SSC Napoli in August after impressing for the French outfit last season before the league was ended due to the Corona Virus. Osihmen is not the only super Eagles star who has made a move in the Super Eagles starting 11 could look with the current crop of players.

Goalkeeper; Francis Uzoho
This is a position where Gernot Rohr is still yet to fix since the departure of veteran super Eagles goalie and former Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama retired from international duty. Carl Ikeme was doing well after Enyeama left but unfortunately, his career came to an end due to health issues and Gernot Rohr has tried so a few names but none of them have completely convinced fans of their abilities to fill in the gloves of Enyeama. However, Francis Uzoho who recently joined APOEL seems to be the coach’s favorite so for now, 21-year-old Uzoho gets the nod.

Defender; Leon Balogun
The veteran center back recently secured a move to the Scottish outfits, Rangers and the 32-year-old seems to be fighting to get back into the starting 11 in the national team. Semi Ajayi is also making a case with the national team with his recent performance for the Super Eagles but the ‘Oyinbo Wall’ will not be cracked that easily.

Defender; Williams Troost-Ekong
The other half of the oyinbo wall, Williams Stroot-Ekong has been a regular for Gernot Rohr’s Eagles and will keep his place in the team. The 27-year-old plays in the Serie A for Udinese and is playing regularly for the club. Ekong also played a huge role in the Super Eagles team in the world cup and AFCON and has been a decent performer.

Left-Back; Ola Aina
The Chelsea academy graduate who is now at Fulham (on loan from Torino) played a crucial role in helping the Super Eagles to a third-place finish in the 2019 AFCON hosted by Egypt and provided two assists in the tournament. The 23-year-old is can also play at right-back but is okay playing from the left as he did in the AFCON. Jamilu Collins would provide competition for the left-back spot but Ola Aina has a better record for the national team.

Right-Back; Chidozie Awaziem
The 23-year-old has been selected for Nigeria in the World cup and the AFCON already and has put in decent showings in the green colors of the Super Eagles. The Super Eagles star is at Portuguese club Boavista on loan from Porto. The defender can also play in the center back position and could be an option if the manager decides to play three at the back.

Defensive midfielder; Wilfred Ndidi
Leicester city’s powerhouse Wilfred Ndidi is no doubt one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and has put in a consistent fine display for both club and country. The 23-year-old midfielder is Gernot Rohr’s favorite player in the engine room and has been a reliable player for the Super Eagles.

Central midfielder; Joe Aribo
The 24-year-old who is another Super Eagles player playing for Scottish outfit, Rangers and has been very impressive for the team. He has also made an excellent start to his international career with the Super Eagles putting out the fine display in friendly games against Brazil and Ukraine. He has also proved his abilities in front of the goal after appearing on the score sheet in those friendlies. So, the national team might not miss Mikel Obi because Joe has shown his abilities to fill in the void.

Attacking midfielder; Alex Iwobi
The Everton man is has played a huge part in Gernot Rohr’s team since he made his debut and the 24-year-old is set to be among the current flock of talent that the manager is developing in the National team. He is also one of few young players in the team who has been called to the Super Eagles team for the previous two tournaments.

Left-winger; Ahmed Musa
The 27-year-old who plays in the Saudi Arabian league for Al-Nassr is Super Eagles most experienced forward in the team and provides the balance between youthfulness and experience in the attack. The super eagle’s star has a record four goals in the World Cup and is a useful asset to the team with his leadership on and off the pitch.

Center forward; Victor Osihmen
The 21-year-old SSC Napoli star who is Africa’s most expensive player is one of Super Eagles’finest talent at the moment. Victor Osihmen struggled to hit the ground running in his professional career after series of setbacks with transfers and health problems with malaria but after his move to Lille in the summer of 2019 followed by an impressive season that earned him a move to Napoli, his story changed. He has grown to become one of the best young talents in Europe.

Right-winger; Samuel Chukwueze
The 21-year-old Villareal star has fought his way into the Nigerian national team starting 11 and has impressed the fans with his performance for both Club and country. Chukwueze has been linked with a move to the Premier League as a result of his fine display for Villareal. However, he still has a lot of work to do with his finishing but he is still young and got time on his side.

Good line up apart from awaziem Leon balogun and Ahmed musa ,those 3 players should not be starting for the super eagles

Nwakali has not done enough for super eagles talk.

Iheanacho had a good season last year after a difficult start.

He has been having an abysmal start if the truth must be told. No window dressing.

5 goals in EPL after 20 games in the 2019/20 an improvement on 2018 /19 season where he scored 1 goal after 30 games.

But in the general scheme of things very poor for a £25 million striker.

It's a reflection of a lack of quality strikers in the SE that's why KC is still in consideration.

Because outside of Ighalo and Osimhen we don't have any quality strikers.

What about Simon Moses. And come to think of it. Samuel Kalu hasn't played actively for some time.

And what do you think about the Oyinbo wall? I think Ajayi should replace Balogun as it stands.

Ajayi Ahead of balogun ,ejuke or Moses Simon Ahead of musa then someone else ahead of awaziem

Iheanacho is classed as home grown via youth set up as well as outstanding talent.

Ndidi most outstanding player in Belguim league.

Success l just don't know, but look deeper into the ownership of Watford and his former team by the one family. And there is room to manuveur.

iheanacho
nwakali etc, should be paused for now...

Nacho got a good season

Stop putting him in the same sentence with nwakali

You make a devious dichotomy between players born in Nigeria and brought up in Nigeria with players brought up and or born abroad.

But you do it like there is a HOSTILE CONTENTION between them, is that your perception

There is not one EPL academy that doesn't have a good number of Nigerian origin players. And that is from age 5/6 onwards.

There are some EPL academies that have up to 40 Nigeria origin players.

I am at this early stage seeing the next set of England U15-17 players and i was looking at players from U12. Some have already got personal endorsements from sports manufacturing companies. And yes there are Nigerians among them.

So you should STOP this regressive negative bias and prejudice, you are creating another form of TRIBALISM.

Move out of the dark ages into the light.
