Just finished binging the first 3 episodes of The Boys.
I just keep loving this show!!!
Episode 3 is really topnotch... Stormfront is one psychopath. One who doesn't give a sh!!t, overall, my Homelaner is still the best! That guy is so so good at doing his job.
Other Companies should take a cue from Amazon series The Boys and give us something deconstructive with high budget too.
My rating for the first 3episodes so far is 9/10 if not 9.5/10.

it's obvious amaz0n increased the budget for seas0n 2. Seas0n 1 didn't have much acti0n than present. But am still pissed amaz0n didn't release all 8. Fans are review b0mbing the show and amaz0n for it. As in, we waitd so l0ng for it, and we are in a pandemic period and all they had to do was make us wait l0nger for the episodes. This is why netflix will always have an edge in streaming.

I enjoy "elseworld" stories like injustice, Red Son, Blackest Night etc, that why I mentioned DCeased.
In a way, The Boys is an elseworld story of corrupt super heroes.

yes...and Geoff use am reset the whole timeline back to normal..brought back soo many nostalgic events that had been either cancelled or lost in continuity..he repaired all the loopholes...made it seem like it was Dr Manhattan toying with reality

Who scatter am again?? E dey related to the recent comics cancellation? How them intend to push forward now after those huge amount of comic discontinuation?? No Rebirth again abi wetin??

Guy how many issues you dey consume on a normal day when you wan read Comics?? My read speed just slow like mad these days.. imagine one issue per day for like 2hrs. with that kind of pace I no fit catch up with anything judging from storylines wey I miss and upcoming ones.

I still get others to watch Raised by Wolves, Strike Back, Transformers, Versailles and when the lastest episode of Lovecraft Country release.

I use weekends for watching Series, then weekdays for Movies. Cos if I no do am like that some film go reach ten years for phone make I no watch am, cos these days na series I dey enjoy watch, films don dey boring and tiresome to me.

the way DC comics are written nowadays it's inevitable for things to stay linear.
There must be continuity issues and other stuff like that cos the end game is money..like now there are like 3 different Batman's or there about (from different stories) but I think the one in the Current Justice League is the main one..same with Harley Quinn and Superman and the rest...best selling books must continue like DK:DM, Batman and the outsiders, Harley Quinn red and white, Suicide Squad etc so everything is now jam packed again even John himself just came with his own head scratcher (3 Jokers) that we have been anticipating since and it's fire bro tbh..that's why I say I still love it despite how scattered everything feels..

Following a string of comics as they go issue by issue?? or:
Follow and stick on one till you finish and move on to the next?

And how do you reconcile this in accordance with old or previous storylines you love to read vs latest ongoing comic storylines?? Eg I want to read Doomsday Clock, Blackest Night but I also got to follow recent comics like DK: Death Metal....

Putting into consideration previous comic have lots of issues and chapters In relation to latest comic with few new issues and I have very limited time for both and must prioritize. Which do I prioritize or take precedence??
