Honestly, Melvin, I am not keen on having Saka. Yes, he is good and will help improve our dept, but besides that, I don't see where he really fits in

Because you are blind. That's all.

nobody is asking you to wait. I'm sure y'all gon stay glue to your TV or mobile phone tomorow to see if he gonna flop so y'all can come in here to mastubate on it. Take it or leave it.. Nwakali is on the rise.

Sure I will try as much as I can to mk out time to watch him against villarael(only if he plays oooo cheesy cheesy) but I will disappoint u by commending his display here if he performs well.

Many see it like I dislike Nwakali but I don't just that I am tired of waiting and the hype he gets here is undeserving.

Also he can only be on the rise after this new season judging by how much game time he had and also his impact in his team's laliga campaign. You won't literally say he is on the rise when the season is yet to kick off

Huesca is serving as a starting point for him to reshape his dwindling career so it all depends on him to take the bull by the horn and be counted amongst men or to be forgotten totally and tagged as another that didn't live up to his promise

The best way to secure the services of some of these dual nationality players is to improve the Super Eagles brand.

One of such ways is through Grade A matches (mostly friendlies).

Good a thing, there seems to be a new vision in the NFF, they now go for 2 matches during international breaks instead of their usual 1 match. Not just that, the matches are top grades.

Hopefully they will work on getting Eze, Olise, Adeyemi, Saka and I believe getting Ejaria will help get Olise.

Bros, cool down. Game still plenty.

Samson Tijani's numbers today...

Sofascore rating of 7.1 (4th highest in the entire game. For context, the highest rating for his opponents was 7.1).

Tijani won 8 of his 9 ground duels showing he is strong in winning the ball and will not be pushed around.

He was also NOT dribbled past once. Apart from the stats, I saw the game so yes I know. wink

Tijani was the most fouled player on the pitch. He was fouled 6 times. Not hard to tell as his grace on the ball and his quick turns on the ball in order to evade his markers or a crowded midfield made the Altach players get a little more aggressive with him. Lad dictated play pretty good.

Tijani made 4 successfully accurate long ball passes out of 6 long ball passes attempted.

Tijani even had a shot on target.

He also made one clearance and two tackles.

He hasn't arrived and it's not eureka but the lad has began the season very well. Hoping to see him keep the consistency and keep maturing in his role. A beautiful midfield talent we have on our hands.

Just extra info: Now his opponents today, SCR Altach just recently signed Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi but he didn't play today.

Lesley Ugochukwu at Rennes. The possible replacement for Camavinga once he leaves Rennes. You need to watch the lad. Very gifted CDM. And Rohr really likes him. wink

See gbas gbos for game week 1

Won't mention him in the light of Vieira or Ndidi yet when talking similarities but he is truly something special. Only pray the kid keeps it up. Seen enough of him to know why Rohr fell in love immediately the kid was recommended to him by someone. Rohr loves the lad's profile very much.

I will be the first to tk my words bck if nwakali proves me wrong by making a name for himself in almighty laliga this season.

If it happens it's long over due and I will commend him for rising from the dust when many including my humble self gave up on him. Even I will clamor 4 him to be given a chance in the current super eagles team

Meanwhile in the Slovakian Fortuna Liga, Matthew Yakubu's SKF Sered leads 2-0 vs MSK Zilina.

Yakubu is yet to concede in league games this season and if he goes the next 45 without conceeding, then that will make it four clean sheets in his four league games and five clean sheets overall including cup games.

He hasn't been on holiday either. He's been making a few good saves.

Don't sleep on Yakubu. wink
