It worked perfectly at city with Silva and Kdb. With the workrates of Mount and Havertz I see no issue with it.

Wrong. Mount biggest attributes are 1) his workrates and 2)pressing ability which will be needed against the big teams.

Rodgers is not testing 4141, he's already mastered it since last season because that's Leicester's default formation on a match day. He started tweaking it to a 4-4-2 and 3-5-2 towards the end of last season when Vardy and Ndidi were Injured

This is just the problem football fans have. Always wanting their teams to be set up as other teams forgetting that they have different players.

Does mount have the quality of KDB?
Is Havertz as good as Bernardo Silva yet?

Man city with all their ball playing mildfielders have a weakness against counter attacking teams.

Chelsea's problem last season was using attacking minded midfielders who lost the ball further up the pitch, leaving the defence and keeper exposed. Kepa was at the receiving end of most of it, but hey, Mount, Barkley, RLC deserves huge chances because they have potentials.....

Chelsea playing a midfield trio of Mount, Harvertz and Kante will be all but amplifying our last seasons weakness being that this time around, we have an easily outpaced Thiago and a goalie who is untested in a proper high line defending. Also, whose poor judgement on one on one situation has been a course for concern.

Fact is, we need Kante and Kovacic in midfield or Rice and Kante there. Mount should prove that he is better than Harvertz or Pulisic or even Werner to earn his place.
