n3xt: Personally, I have never used anything over 0.55. Unless there is an armoured bird pecking my roof, I think that gauge should do. Hajji M. |

After writing all this, I was hoping to see: supply me 100 units of assorted doors . I have told the vendor sometime ago that his location is a minus for the door business. This thread is full of lagos ibadan people. Few of us are in Abj. These cheap doors are everywhere, hung on walls along the road. I personally will SEE and touch doors before I buy. But he should not give up. He's not a known scammer. He obviously has a thick skin. He just need a big offer to open the floodgates. diordaves: 1 Like |

mufutau55: I did over 2,000sqm of 0.7mm with Tower last year, I can tell the difference. Even their .55 is thicker than the imported materials. |

n3xt: I can imagine that... there has to be difference given those gauges. Must be expensive too? I know many imported lies about their gauges, Naija. Hajji M. |

mufutau55: Yes it’s expensive but worth it. That was my first time tho but I really loved the thickness. 0.45 Tower is likely same thing or thicker than 0.55 imported. When they gave me 0.7, I was like “Is this 1.0mm?” 1 Like |

EgunMogaji2: I think you’ll be fine with 0.55 from reputable aluminum roofing companies. Beyond getting the right product, the experience and expertise of the installer matters a lot in roofing installation. I always focus more on the latter than the former. |

EgunMogaji2: To be honest, I use 0.35 on my roof and it’s almost 9 years now. No issues! _____ No one should abuse me o. I won’t recommend this to anyone but that’s difference of a good installer. If anyone doubt it, just bring your calliper and come and test the gauge.

So trying to put ceiling in a kobo kobo project. Its btw pvc and "asbestos". I dislike pvc, but it appears cheaper than asbestos. I am yet to do a market survey, but heard 1 board is 1.2m x 1.2m about 3k. Have not measured the area, but sitting rm is 14 x 12ft, 3 br 12 x 12ft, toilet kitchen, bathroom 8ft x 8ft. Veranda has 3 sections 10ft x 7ft, 10ft x 7ft and 16ft x 7ft. Can someone give me a fair cost for labour and materials. Also electrical wiring, whats a fair figure for workmanship.. 3br bungalow imo state 1 Like |

bobkezel:it's is not expensive. I used to think like you until I decided to go off grid. You have 1kva, 1.2kva, 1.5kva and so on and so forth. Advantage -No noise pollution -Uninterrupted power supply (depending on usage and KVA) - No maintenance issues - 8 yrs and counting Take that bold step today you will be happy you did 1 Like 1 Share |
