komekn:

Well this is the first day of the season and you have jumped to conclusion way too quickly.

Liverpool were pushed to the brink yesterday by Leeds. Fulham were beaten by a very resurgent Arsenal and WBA were schooled by a Leicester.

Last season Sheffield United were promoted stayed up and finished 9th just below Arsenal. So that your proposition is not true.

There are 36 games to go.

Last season Watford beat Liverpool but still got relegated.

When the results doesn't go your favorites way, you give the excuse in bold.... 'Don't conclude yet, Its just a game' , .. 'its just one season' ... Bla bla bla
But If the results favour your favorites,... You won't let us hear the last of it.

.....
Also when the results doesn't favour our own favorites .... Even from the first minute, you will start rubbing it on our faces

When Lyon Bundled Man City out of the UCL, you were no where to be found, when Sevilla screwed Man U, u were no were to be found too.. But you are always obsessed with this your Championship forgetting that when push comes to shove... They can't measure up

Maybe this is the season Everton show some real quality..

I hope Iwobi will be part of them...

Danny mehn, Carlo went to the market and came back with three quality signings. Everton is looking good tbh.

And yes... We hope Iwobi is part of this side. Time will tell. I believe an Iwobi in this Everton team will add even more creative work alongside James. Iwobi does even better when surrounded by quality players. We will see shaa. It is just the first week of the new season.

On a flip side, Merseyside derby go hot this season. grin Be prepared. wink

Noni Madueke bagged yet another assist for PSV's 3rd and final goal.

PSV and Noni kickoff their season with a 3-1 wi over Robben's Groningen.

TheSuperNerd:
Noni Madueke with an assist for PSV to take them up 2-1 away at Groningen.

He didn't start. Subbed in on 51mins. Assist on 57mins.

Game currently at the 75mins mark.

Please..don't talk about Merseyside derby yet embarassed .. I haven't gotten over Leeds...
Everton are always mad when it's derby day regardless of their form!!

As for Iwobi, I want to believe he didn't make the squad today due to fitness issue.. his first season at Everton was poor, but I won't judge him by that cus the whole team was poor..
But,we will see..
If Everton don't add a winger to their squad, then Iwobi will get more game time...

Haba, Drog played for about 12 years, same as Yaya. E no close to 20 o. This isn't really about CAF, UEFA have more countries so they play more games during WC/Euro qualifiers. During the FIFA window most UEFA countries play 2 games while African countries find it hard to even play one game if there's no qualifier. African countries need to do better and get their teams more involved
Drogba and Eto are up to. I watched Afcon 2006 na. That hate(eliminating SE) made me remember him going forward. Thats over 14years roughly sha.

Philosopher1979:

Make dem buy boys from Africa. They can buy some boys from a football academy in Africa. They will be cheao under 1 million pounds. It might work. Some of our U17 Boys could be of help. It sounds crazy but it is a veritable option since they dont have money

Do you know how many quality strikers are already in the top EPL academies waiting for an opportunity.

Our 17 boys coming from our local academies have a long way to go, before jumping to an EPL club.

I wonder what Rohr reason would be next for benching Onyekuru for Ahmed Musa.

Villarreal 0-1 Huesca

A brilliantly worked goal.

A team that recently came from the "Low-quality Spanish Segunda" is balling real good. Komekn has to apologize for the Segunda slander. grin
