Bruno, AWB, VDB and Maguire are definitely quality players comparing it with what we added before then, we should be looking at the number of quality players added not the amount spent on them very simple. Enough with the Ole spent 200M, the narrative should be Ole added quality players to the squad.

I’m not sold on Haaland. Yet.

Yes, he’s a fantastic talent.
Yes, he seems to be very good.
And yes, he scores goals.

However he’s still fresh, there isn’t much attention on him and he hasn’t faced tough defenders who see him as a threat. Or played week in week out against those type of defenders.

He scored in the first leg vs PSG and in the second leg could hardly muster a shot on target cos Silva and co kept an eye on him.

In tougher leagues opposition teams will have a special plan for players they deem dangerous. Did you notice that players started doubling up on Greenwood towards the end of last season? That’s part of the reason his goals dried up a bit. And you can trust that they will continue to do that this season.
