I thought it was a brilliant adaptation and it deserved a 7/10.

First off, The 4:3 aspect ratio was cringe for me at first but i quickly got used to it. With the movie opening with a girl seemly dissatisfied with her current relationship and "thinking of ending things" one could take a single guess where this was going but as with Charlie Kaufman's previous work, one must pay attention to the little details, armed with this and the running monologue of the leads about "Hopelessness, the futility of living and the certainty of Death", i knew where this was going and everything became grim quickly.

I think "Eternal sunshine of the Spotless mind" is a step above this if for anything it brought the hope of "finding your soulmate no matter what" but none the less this was a brilliant piece.

Ps. The Book had a more morbid and voilent end than this.

Yeah. I wasn't comparing Eternal Sunshine and this movie. I was just saying it was only the second Charlie Kaufman movie I had seen by that time. I have seen two others now; Synedoche, New York (which i didn't really like) and Adaptation (which I'll probably give a 7). I read the novel immediately after seeing the movie and yes, the end was violent. I've started reading novels which have film adaptations coming up. I'm done with The Devil All The Time (which is quite graphic for a novel) and I'll be starting Dune soon. It gives a new perspective especially if the movie adaptation is quite different from the source novel.

To the main topic, I want to appreciate DriggityDre for introducing and encouraging me to learn how to program. I got an internship after learning for 1.5 months. I just collected my first salary ever. So I felt that it is very important that I do everything possible to say thank you.
Now that I am working and earning salary, thekingishere and others should know hulk is not longer a small boy.

I learnt something from other guys too, sorry I don't have time to drop everything.
