Openbusiness: Not sure if am 100% correct in interpretation, but he said something like 2030 being a reference of some sort, according to his calculation and then the rapture could either happen like 3 years before then, or 6 years there about after, or 10 years or something. So it was like a theoretical analysis. Do I know if he is right or wrong. NO! I don't have any research or deep knowledge on it. But I won't just insult and ridicule him for putting out such a theory. Most of the scientific laws we have in the world today were once theories put forward by people and during their time many of them were dismissed by their societies as either being crazy or stupid or heretic or possessed or something negative. But the wise societies didn't write them off outrightly, they sponsored expeditions and research to thoroughly analyse whatever those claims were, and sometimes in the process of trying to check if such theories were true, it was either they discovered Yes, it's true, or NO, it isn't true and then because they were doing their own research they sometimes will come up with a modified theory or a new theory that actually works. These are the things that fuelled human advancement. There was a time the theory that man could fly was considered stupid and crazy and impossible etc, but look at where we are today, because some people actually took the time to verify or disprove those theories. So for me, I think theories are good. At least, it presents a challenge for rational activities and helps to expand knowledge as people try to either workout such theories as correct or prove them wrong. Whichever the outcome is, it is good for Humanity. Thomas Edison speaking relative to theories that birth research and inventions said something like, He didn't fail, he just discovered 1000 ways it wouldn't work. So sometimes, to succeed we must fall first. Is Pastor Chris right about his theory? I DON'T KNOW. I really don't have an idea. But I love the fact that he tried to do something significant. I mean, the rapture is averu significant event and if we are even able to compute and understand or figure out a correct period for its possible occurrence, I think that's a very giant leap for Christianity and the world at large. Now that he has put forward this theory, I believe and expect other people, maybe theologians or pastors or religious community to look at what he said, and make a review to try to understand it first of all, and then analyse it to verify whether it's accurate or not. In the process, more theories might come forward, and before you know it, someone might eventually come up with something accurate and factual, or prove whether this theory Pastor Chris gave is true or not true. So it will cause people to try to push their boundary of knowledge further and test their minds for better ideas, and this is a good thing for Humanity. This is how we made progress this far. All the scientific laws we have today, whether physics, chemistry, biology or science in general, they were all theories at the beginning. It was when people made the effort to prove or disprove them, that they became laws after their authenticity were confirmed. That's it. So me I don't know why some people now have to turn this thing to an insult contest. If we keep ridiculing people like that, then we will kill the drive for creativity in people, because they will be afraid to come out or speak about the ideas or theories they found about for fear of being stigmatized by society. So I won't support that. I support creativity, I support free thinking. Yes some crazy ideas may come from time to time, but it will die natural death when it is found to be false. But then again, the best ideas also come from creativity and free thinking. That's part of the beauty of life Sweet...I love the way you replied whosoever that is 1 Like |

You really think Pastor Chris doesn't know what he is talking about? I am yet to meet a more scholar of the word like Pastor Chris.
Outbursts like yours reminds me that the Bible says the rapture will occur like the floods in the time of Noah.
Noah went around announcing the flood and he was jeered at.
Many years ago I remember Pastor Chris mentioning that the rapture isn't anywhere close from what Bible prophecy reflects. And that once the rapture of the Church is close, he will alert the Church.
And that's what he is doing now.
1 Thessalonian 5:4 is clear: the rapture isn't meant to take those who are in the light unawares.
Pastor Chris isn't stupid. He knows what he is talking about.
Shallom!

Thought the bible said, No one knows about that DAY or hour, not even the son of man?
But 10 years is approx 3,650 days.
It's a fake news or probably a message of doom
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only” (Matt. 24:36, Mark 13:32). Does he know who the real children of ISRAEL are? YAH knows how to humble the proud. |

Is your type that go about deceiving innocent people. False prophets. Is this a law court that you are telling lies of year and not time? May all of you false prophets never have your ways. Openbusiness: Oga the man dropped a theory! Prove it wrong and stop beating around the bush about who the Son of God is, is that the issue here or the subject matter? Jesus himself said, No man knows the DAY or HOUR of the rapture. Jesus DID NOT SAY, No man knows the YEAR, OR MONTH OR WEEK. The rapture is a specific event with a specific timing. So it can be calculated. A man has come out with his own idea and reasoning to put up a theory on the possible period the event of rapture can be expected. There's nothing wrong with what he did. He never said the rapture will take place on Oct 20, 2028 at 11:00AM. If he gave a pinpoint specific time like that, then he can easily be proven wrong and disproved to be incorrect with the very proof and fact of the scripture where Jesus said Nobody knows the day or hour. Did he say that? No! He only postulated on the possible years it could happen. He said it could be around 3 years before 2030 or 7 years after etc, or so I think if I get what he said well. Nonetheless, He has put forward a mathematically computable time frame with figures. He didn't say am angel showed him or say an invisible intangible object is the source of his claim. So it is left for others to review what he said and the theory he put forward to either prove or disprove it. Whether or not his theory is accurate is the next line of action, but it's an interesting theory all the same. You either prove it wrong with your own theory and proven law or you ignore if you don't understand what he's talking about. |

Tons of great philosophers have tackled that question since you feel I am "amplifying my folly" and you can't tell me you are smarter than them. An entity cannot force itself into existence from a state of null or nothingness unless it was formed of another thing or created, now that will obviously mean to some that a god exists but now if that god exists how did it come about, this leads to a problem called infinite regression that Thomas Aquinas tried to tackle but ended up solving nothing, the best answer to this question is that we can never know because we weren't there. |

ZinoFasisi:
Na pastor No be scientist or mathematician abi theorist
Stop referring to science or research that cannot prove existence of God
Real and True Pastors are meant to work with God in spirit, not postulating theories God is a "the" scientist. He created science.... As far as the science we know, life or the origin of the universe began from the Big Bang, aka the Big Bang Theory. Now let me ask you? How many years have you existed in this world? Maybe 20, 30, 50, 70? Ok, since you have been existing and become a self conscious, self aware and self cognitive being, have you ever seen an explosion or a fire start by itself without any external influence or causative elements? A fire or explosion just starts independently on its own without any force or action or influence from anything else or something? The answer can only be NO! So therefore, the Big Bang Theory proves we are not alone in existence, someone or something started that Big Bang explosion. And, I think that's God. You see, there are 2 categorizations of people that hold the reality of God's existence. Category 1: We have people who BELIEVE God exists, maybe because they read some religious books or were taught to accept that belief as their own etc. Category 2: We have people who KNOW God exists. Some of us don't "believe" God exists, we KNOW He does. And that knowledge is absolute. Take away the Bible or religous books, it doesn't matter, we still know there is a God in existence. The first category of people, those ones might have issues when you take away their religous books or question their beliefs, they might get confused, and they waiver in their convictions etc. But for those of us that KNOW God exists, it is our permanent reality. I don't need the Bible to know God exists. I found out for myself He does. |

Openbusiness: You guys are always quick to label things with derogatory terms without even doing any holistic research on whatever claims he put out there. Jesus said, "whoever eats of his flesh...", and the religious people around said he was crazy for saying such. Same way, Galileo was labeled an heretic by the Roman Catholics for postulating a theory that the Earth was not the center of the universe and that the Sun didn't revolve around the Earth. Galileo said it was the other way around and it was the earth moving around the Sun. They killed him for it. But what do you know, later turns out Galileo was right. Many other cases like that in human history. So why not conduct your research to disprove or verify his claims first? Where's your research? Where's your counter postulations? None! Only insults. Nawa oh How does one start researching the claims in this video cos the maths is not in my bible. If this thing is by mathematics, then joining a masonic lodge is the way. |
