These men of God talk too much.God didn't and won't tell anyone the exact time of his coming yet they want to predict on their own. After, when they call their prediction fails and they're called false prophets, they'll start trying to redeem their image. |

Openbusiness: The first question to ask is not whether he is correct or not. The question is whether such analysis is in fact useful or whether it simply raises more questions and debates within the body - debates which are divisive and unnecessary. Jesus never told us to enquire into the times and seasons. "He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority" Acts 1:7 Jesus made it clear that if we wanted to see his return we should ensure that the gospel of the kingdom is preached in all the nations and then the end will come. If there is to be s progress chart it is very simple. Is the gospel of the kingdom in fact known by large numbers of the church and is it in fact being preached. Secondly, is it being preached everywhere including among the isolated tribes that have no contact with other human beings? Finally how far has that gone?/ According to the Joshua Project that keeps data on missionary efforts https://www.joshuaproject.net/ 42.5% of the worlds population is currently unreached ( see attached chart) This is the kind of information we need. Information that drives us forward in global evangelism not speculation that makes us hunker down waiting for spaceship rapture. Maranatha.

O mankind! hearken, this is the prophecy of God Who made the Heavens and the Earth. He will spread this Movement in all the countries and will give it supremacy over all through reason and arguments. Remember, no one will descend from heaven. All our opponents who are living at present will die and not one of them will see Jesus, son of Mary, descend from the sky and then their children who survive them will also pass away and none of them will see Jesus, son of Mary, coming down from the heaven. Generations of their posterity will also perish and they too will not see the son of Mary descending from heaven. Then God will create restlessness in their hearts; that the day of the glory of the Cross had passed away and the world had taken another turn but Jesus, son of Mary, had still not come down from the sky. Then all the wise people will discard this belief and the third century from today will not have completed when all those who had been waiting for Jesus, both Muslims and Christians will despair of his coming and entertaining misgivings shall give up their belief and there will be only one Faith in the world and one preceptor. I came only to sow the seed. That seed has been sown by my hands. It will now grow and blossom forth and none dare retard its growth. https://www.alislam.org/articles/future-of-ahmadiyyat/ |

Many of this people I would have believe if not that they have lost touch with the truth This is believers love world that I can't find Thier presence in poor regions only in rich environments. Nobody ask you to calculate those. Abide in good and love be submerge in it. When Christ comes he will be sudden. Like a theive in the night. What part of suddenly don't they understand. |

Openbusiness:I don't know if you know that there has been numerous cases of "mathematical calculations" in history about the end of the world that have all woefully failed? Hundreds and hundreds of failed cases. You know the silly thing about all these cases? Once the year/date passes, people forget about the prediction and move on with their lives, waiting for the next prediction. This pastor is wise. He chose a time quite far from this year, a time most of us must have forgotten he ever made such a prediction. We pray for long life, someone must surely fish out this video when the time comes. The Internet never forgets, make sure you don't forget this prediction then too. Long life we pray bro. |

BreconHills:thanks for your contribution and I think you have made some good points. But let's think about it critically. If we look at "preach to all nations...end will come" from the perspective that it means to preach to 100% of the human population or everyone in the world, then it means it is either rhetorical or it is a rat race. Because there's NO WAY the gospel will be preached to everyone on Earth at the same time OR let me say, there's no way everyone on Earth will know about the gospel at the same time. We live in a world that functions like a cycle. People are dying every day and people are being born everyday. So therefore, there will ALWAYS be a population of "unreached" people, and if that's the case, then the END will never come since you believe the End is dependent on everyone in the World having the gospel preached to them. So this perspective is generically flawed. But there's another perspective you should consider. I think Preach the Gospel to all nations the end will come etc works in the context of Having the means to disseminate information across all the nations of the world at once. The world now has satellites transmission, something that wasn't existing in the old era. So now, the Gospel can already be broadcast all across the world. So for me, I think if every country in the world can receive a broadcast of the gospel, then the condition has already been fulfilled. I think there are 195 countries in the world, so for me, I think, if and once all the 195 countries in this world have the capability to receive satellite broadcast of the Gospel, then the condition has been met. There are already Christian people / groups / bodies making the gospel available all across the world via satellite broadcasts. Have their broadcasts reached the 195 countries? Yes! Whether or not the people there are listening is not an issue. The condition is fulfilled once the broadcast or information is available. So for me, these days are truly the "Last Days" period, the Gospel is already accessible everywhere because the internet is everywhere, satellite broadcasts already cover the entire Earth, and the Gospel is already on these platforms. So for me, that aspect as a prerequisite for the rapture has been fulfilled. There are other "prerequisites". And I think, we are truly at the very last lap and precipice of this extraordinary inevitable event. The thing is some people confuse the rapture with the End of the world. No, it's not. The rapture is different from the end of the World. I think you know the world will still continue to exist after the rapture happens. So if the first perspective that you have is true, the perspective that the gospel must be preached to everyone before the rapture can occur, ok, ok, then why are they still preaching to people after the rapture has happened? If everyone already heard it before the rapture, then why is the gospel still being preached after the rapture, preached to the point that even angels came down to Earth to preach. So for me, i think the pre-condition of preaching to all nations has been fulfilled already. I think it's some of the other pending prerequisites that might be holding things off a bit, but whatever the case about that, we are very close to the event of the rapture. And that's why there's never a time more appropriate to debate and research about the rapture than now. The debates won't bring division, it will bring better understanding. Is there no division in the religous community already? So no need to worry about division. You can't divide what is already divided. But it's just my opinion and am not forcing anyone to accept or agree to this viewpoint. Whatever convictions anyone has, let them hold on to it, in the "end", or eventually, the truth will be laid bare for everyone to see. |
