Good morning all. Many thanks for all your responses regarding passport renewal. Swansea, Wales is 5.5 hrs to London, hence you saved be the disappointment I would have encountered if I embarked on the journey. There are alot of things that are frustrating as a Nigerian. I am one of the few ones that still believe there is hope, but this feeling is gradually fading away . As already stated above, why must it be on a man-know-man basis in order to have access to fast-track? Why can't the high commission place a simple information on the website to update customers? And why can't the individuals that have found out fast track is suspended just simply go home. I remember facing a similar situation in New York Embassy. Came all the way from Philadelphia only to go back empty handed because there were a lot of people and instead of simply forming a queue and wait patiently for their turn. People who were not scheduled for the appointment showed up. It was like a war zone. Even the ones that had American passport were behaving worse. We Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Rheminix: Almost ALL the fast telecoms give unlimited call minutes to UK line, unlimited SMS to UK lines. Question is: How much (approximately) do you want to spend per month on mobile? Are you cool for a contract? Or you want PAYG? 2 Likes |

I will advice u to tell ur employer that you have to open account when you are in UK. No need to rush anything to avoid be scammed. When u get there you open account. dami94: 1 Like |

No need of using any completion of internship. Ur board license covers dat. certification, just go to any notary public chamber along ur street, certificate ur documents and stamp stickers on it. Cost 700 (7hundered naira) per document. Adeyeti: |

dami94: I think you are being ahead of yourself. Methinks you are a bit excited and a little impatient. I doubt 100% that your employer would demand your UK account number when you haven’t even left Nigeria. Cross the Bridge when you reach it. Relax. Be patient. Your employer is not likely to begin paying you into ‘your’ UK account while you are still in Nigeria. Or are you working in Tech, and would be working remotely? Probably your work does not require your physical presence in the UK? (Giving benefit of doubt). |

I’m just watching Heathrow: Britain’s busiest airport There’s this Nigerians guy so embarrassing. Why do Nigerians tell too many lies? He claims he paid for a hotel but he hadn’t They let him in in the end which was a very good outcome but he could have saved himself all the agro by telling the truth in the first place. |

Please I need answer to this: For someone going to UK to write a 2-day, will the person self-isolate for two weeks? This is because am seeing on the attached file that if your stay in UK is less than 14days, you will self-isolate for the period of your stay. My wife is really worried about isolating for 14 days for 2 days exam in uk before we saw this clause.....please I will like a good advice. Thank you

ukay2: Suggestion would be to arrive in UK 14 days before her 2 days exam that way she has fulfilled the govt requirement and guidelines At least she isn't coming strictly for just 2 days, I presume |
