The Kaduna State Penal Code (Amendment) Law 2020 amends the Penal Code Law (No.5) of Kaduna State, 2017 by substituting section 258 as follows :

Whoever commits rape of a child below the age of fourteen (14) years shall on conviction, be punished with Surgical Castration and death.

Whoever has sexual intercourse with a male child below the age of fourteen years shall be punished with surgical castration and death.

Where a female adult is convicted for the offence of rape of a child, the Court shall punish the accused with Bilateral Salpingectomy and death.

Where the victim is above fourteen years, the Court shall on conviction sentence the accused with a punishment of surgical castration and life imprisonment.

Where the convict is a child, the Court shall order as appropriate under the Children and Young Person Law Cap 26 Laws of Kaduna State 1991.

Where the victim is a child, the Court shall in addition to the conviction, order that the convict be listed in the Sex Offenders Register to be published by the Attorney General.

Where the Court is trying the offence of rape involving a child below the age of fourteen years, corroboration of a medical report shall be necessary.

No surgical procedure is needed if the person will equally be sentenced to DEATH... That's a waste of taxpayers money.

only ONE bullet is sufficient to solve the issue.

BTW life imprisonment.... Why exactly should they use taxpayers money to keep these demons alive for life?

Still not enough punishment for rapists. Nigerian Government should check deeply d mean and sever punishments melted out to rapists by other Countries which clearly serves as determent to them. undecided

Let's just be truthful in our life for once.

Do u know Northern part have there own constitution indirectly

Niger legal age is 18+
There own na 14

Nigeria constitution no regard death penalty for punishment for blasphemy but sharia court do

A Nigeria will be forcefully tried under sharia law
Which contradict the law of the land


Etc etc

We are just not one if this is the case.

Gov. Elrufai increased IGR from N13bn in 2015 to N44bn in 2019. He implemented the TSA to block leakages in addition to LG autonomy.Kaduna is the number one in terms of ease of doing business. In Kaduna,governance is open & projects can be monitored.All these aren’t coincidence!

Elrufai is developing Kaduna!

I am just curious o, what are they going to use for the execution of the judgement. Will a bulldizo plier be used on the candidate in an anaesthetised state or a state of wakefulness

If the culprit will be dead, then why castrate again.........are these lawmakers thinking at all. Oh! they don't want them to use their gbola in the afterlife. lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the death is to easy if it's just death.at least let it suffer gruesome and excruciating pain before he leaves the world for decent human beings
