proeast: The Kwara and Kogi people are the one talking much about their Yorubasness.. Nobody forced them like the way you guys are forcing your people in other places Lol.. Upon all the money Kanu has been collecting all this years, I have never seen him doing charity, projects or empowerment while nobody is asking. 1 Like |

Igbo thread ...Yoruba thread. What has Tinubu and Osinbajo got to do with this? Are they representing all Yorubas? I dont comment on yoruba thread unless the one seeking to achieve Oodua Republic which I will naturally support for strategic reasons helinues: 4 Likes 1 Share |

Not at all. I for one dont like Kanu's method. I believe he should work with leaders of other tribes that are not pro govt. When I saw his meeting with Sowore, I appreciated it. I will like him to reach out to Afenire, pandev and middle belt leaders because the goal is regionalism or separation. I see the big picture where the constituents of Nigeria can be prosperous and not following politicians like you who will maintain the status quo of corruption and failure! helinues: |

DMerciful: Both Kanu and Sowore are self centered. See, any region talking about seceeding from Nigeria for now shouldn't be taking serious... Why not make your region as one of the best in terms of development... |

The laws, policies, structures, resources need to be changed to succeed. You can't been in a smoky environment and avoid the smoke by closing your windows, for how long? Nigeria will not improve more than this because the population keeps growing astronomically to make our little resources inadequate. We need a loose federation( confederation) or separation. Every analysts can see this, we are just deceiving ourselves helinues: 1 Like |

DMerciful: See all what average Nigerians are good at is making unreal plans. Not until we start seeing the position of presidency and governor's as figure head and focus on electing credible people from state assembly to house of reps and Senate. Even if Dumbo was elected as a President or Governor, active reps would definitely reject any policies that may affect the citizens. You see that guy, Desmond Ediot, the way I dislike him heh... There are millions of him that if given an opportunity might even do worse. Our long way to go in Nigeria is far more than Kuvuki land |

Nigeria is too big to change especially as different things matter to different groups. The Europe that was amalgamating African groups together, why did they leave themselves divided? How big do you think Netherlands is, not bigger than Oyo State. What about Wales? Scotland, Belgium? Because they know complexities hinders development. They merged Africa for colonial gains so they could manage a large area with least running cost and more reward of collecting our resources. If merging is desirable why did UK leave European union? Most of the countries that broke away from former Yugoslavia are doing better that Yugoslavia did! Nigeria is too big to change, a new country or restructured region gives you the opportunity of drafting a people's constitution where there will be agreements on how we will live together unlike this military imposed constitution that no ethnic group signed. helinues: 3 Likes |

I have never seen a more irritating, offensive, annoying and troublesome group like ipob. Oju, Obi, Igbo speaking towns? Oju and Obi are the Igede speaking LGAs in Benue state. We are the third largest ethnic group in the state. But this useless group, populated by the most impressionable and ignorant dolts on the planet, would believe the town's are Igbo speaking towns. The only Igbos you find in Oju and Obi are those into clothing and building materials business in Ihiejwo and Obarike Ito markets respectively. Very useless group. Encroaching on peoples lands thinking it's all fun and games. 2 Likes |

DMerciful: The truth is our past and current leaders are lazy thinkers that can think out of the box and find a new source of income. Watching Discovery world has exposed me to so many ways to make money from Natural resources.. Majority of things are made either by Trees or Rocks.. See the way Chinese are extracting our natural resources almost for free cos the illegal moners are more than registered miners... Kogi state has Uranium in abundance but when you have clowns in the position of power |

That's why I said the structure is a problem. Why will the State govt bother about Uranium when the governor can just wait till month end and get allocation? If you tell the govt that he can keep 60% of whatever mineral is found and pay 40% to the fg, will he not jump at the opportunity? Resource control is a motivating factor for state govt to look inwards. People look at oil and think that the oil states will have tremendous advantage but look at the richest men in the world, they became rich through technology and ecommerce like Bezos, Gates, Elon musk, Zuckerberg. Most of the European countries are not built on oil. 4 litres of ground oil is far more expensive than 4 litres of petrol. The Netherlands generates $20 billion from agriculture alone and it is not bigger than Oyo state. $20 billion is over half our national budget. Politicians wants the status quo to remain because it benefits them so they will tell you how we should join hands to build the country we have been building for 60yrs yet not tangible progress helinues: 2 Likes |
