Do you know how to convert manual gear to automatic. Na there we take they know people that sabi mechanic or rewire work.

Can you ring engine? If you can do all this, i have job for you.

I have 2 tokunbo Corolla just arrived, both manual gear, i need to convert to automatic.

Since Corolla is expensive lately, i go for manual gear in auction.

Lol, I thought you know by now , anything converting away from the manufacturer intended purpose is a disaster, especially, especially, especially by Nigerian mechanics, that car will never be the same again

Ok guys I want to ask this question. On Monday, I was at lekki and set destination to Berger, got omole estate wink we began the journey and I checked g map and gmap told me to go through Broad street (marina) as it is 22mins faster than Osbourne. Lo and behold, I took Broad street, before I knew it I found myself inside balogun shocked Google will tell me to turn left to a street that's not motorable or overtaken by market ppl.
We later spent almost 3hrs before reconnecting to 3mb via Adele adeniji.
Yesterday, I set destination to Berger, got ogba from lekki 1. Decided to face normal ikoyi to 3mb. Still spent 3hrs on Osbourn Rd alone. N:b the 2 riders weren't happy with the journey, thinking I intentionally drove them to traffic prone roads. So my question is, since this 3mb repair is on, how do you go to the mainland from the island from 5pm without offending your riders?

I always prefer 3rd mainland bridge to access mainland. Albeit last night I used eko bridge while heading to somolu. However on many occasion I just ignore gooogle map and instead force it to reroute to my preferred route to avoid stories that touch.

What I find challenging most times is knowing which direction to face when a request comes in. Sometimes map says, "head south" , and am like, "which one be south now"? Sometimes I end up giving myself headache trying to study the blue line but to no avail. Other times I drive some distance to know if I'm moving in the right direction and if I'm not the headache is increased a notch when the blue line is redrawn.

Please house, what does it mean if app (uber) requests for riders code before starting trip? Last night, carried a pretty Hausa lady from airport junction to vi and when I tried to start trip app started requesting for riders code. Rider had to call the person that ordered the ride and before the code was sent, I was almost at illupeju. Ended trip and instead of airport junction to vi, I saw illupeju to vi...weird.

It affect owners more, Corolla is super expensive, even honda self doesn't come easy.

Spare parts has increased over 50%. Yet drivers want cheap rent.

Uber/bolt has increased their fare quietly, so riders wont know or feel the heat.

No be car owners vote Buhari.

.

The emboldened is false. Bolt still #65/km #10/min.

Aftwr sending me text yesterday, moove just called me to come pick up 2016 Corolla to drive.

Seems these guys want to aggressively take over ehailing company for uber with their 2016 model cars.

Are you aware of the conditions?

Even luxurydriver don go drop their vehicle for deir yard..

I still maintain it. 2016 Toyota corolla is way too big a car for d crap fares n d bad state of roads in Lagos

Bro. Forget those kind of riders. The riders r not serious... They will leave their house at the peak of rush hour n expect the driver to do magic.

Very unreasonable set of riders, you live in Lagos n you set out at Peak rush hour n you start complaining about the traffic,

I just totally ignore them.

Forget what Google says... if you don't leave V.I or lekki before 2pm, you will spend minimum 2hrs 30mins via the 3MB.

It happens sometimes, when you’re starting the trip away from the point of request. You actually started the trip after inputting the code; ilupeju. Technically, the app wasn’t wrong. You should have negotiated with the rider.

You should have waited, for the code. When Uber algorithm sense that your location and the rider that made the request is far from each other, they try to confirm if you are truly with the rider. Nah to avoid fraud sha

I'm actually not interested. But why did luxurydriver drop his car for rental? I can't do that. There is a peace of mind that comes with it when you drive your own car.

I think the bolded was what happened. After clicking navigate, map wanted me to get to the other side of the road heading towards airport, where as rider was on the side of the road heading towards 7&8 from the airport.

Yeah, I think should have renegotiated. Didn't occur to me.

Both initiator and rider where both in the same place. I think the algorithm got the location of pick up wrong.

If it's lekki Phase 1, 2pm is still fine, provided ikoyi link card is available.

Traffic to mainland is minimal on weekends.
