BAYELSA STATE POLITICAL LEADERS ARE NOT HELPING DEVELOPMENT IN THE RIVERINE AREAS OF THE STATE.

Apart from Yenagoa town which is the state capital that has seen some minimal development the rest of Bayelsa state villages or town that are on the riverine areas are starked in stupendous poverty and large scale human suffering.

NO CLEAN WATER
NO ACCESS TO MEDICAL FACILITIES
NO BRIDGES TO MOST OF THIS RIVERINE TOWN
NO STANDARD WATER FERRY TRANSPORTATION LIKE THE ONES THAT ONE CAN FIND IN LAGOS STATE.

Infact, they have rickety canoe that is even risky to go by river transport from one ijaw town to another.

Go to Elemebiri town in Sagbama Local government it is all misery and poverty.

Go to Asamabri town the same poverty and underdevelopment.

Go to Odi town and Adagbabri town ( these are the land area of bayelsa state ) it is the same poverty and under-development.

Go to the Otuoke town which is the hometown of the former of President of Nigeria, Ebele Azikiwe Goodluck Jonathan the same misery and poverty.

Otuoke is just few miles from Yenagoa town the capital of Bayelsa state. Despite the fact that President Goodluck Jonathan sited a Federal University in Otuoke the town is grossly underdeveloped and the University is just a glorified college.

With President Jonathan leaving public office and Buhari taking over the University had grossly been starved of funds.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE ADMINISTRATIVE AND GOVERNMENTAL PEDEGREE OF THE AVERAGE IJAW MAN IN BAYELSA STATE.

EX-PRESIDENT GOODLUCK EBELE AZIKIWE JONATHAN had that problem.

He was in public office as the President of Nigeria for close to 6 years but he was like a figure head while other politicians mainly hausas/yoruba/Igbos and a few Niger deltans were running the show and stealing huge amount of federal government money here and there.

IT IS HIGHLY BELIEVED THAT THOSE WHO FAILED TO STEAL DURING JONATHAN GOVERNMENT CAN NOT HAVE SUCH AN OPPORTUNITY IN THEIR LIFE TIME AS JONATHAN WAS TOO WEAK AS A LEADER AND TOO LOOSE.

Jonathan was just in government but he was not in control of his government.

The same lackadaisical attitude to government that was perpetuated by the Jonathan administration is still be replicated by governor DOUYE DIRI in Bayelsa state.

BAYELSA STATE UNDERDEVELOPMENT IS NOT FULLY CAUSED BY NORTHERN NIGERIA or the HAUSA/FULANI that has dominated a greater aspect of Nigeria 's political history.

THERE IS ALSO THE HOME TROUBLE ASPECT which suggest that most BAYELSANS politicians are rather too greedy and self centred as to be bothered about the gross retrogression in the state of Bayelsa.

ALL THIS OIL WELL BAYELSA is fighting for will still end up in POLITICIANS POCKET.

THEY ARE DECEIVING BAYELSAN to feel that they are fighting for their collective interest.

THIS IS FAR FROM THE TRUTH.

AKWA IBOM STATE AND RIVERS STATE ARE MAKING GOOD USE OF THEIR MONEY TO INVEST IN CAPITAL BASED INFRASTRUCTURE.

But this is not the case with Bayelsa state.

So what is the purpose of going to the supreme court to fight for crude oil when you can not use the crude oil money to better the lot of the GOOD PEOPLE OF BAYELSA STATE?

how did they determine that the allocation was wrongly given when there is no contiguous boundary between the two to effect such error?
